- Check out Week 10's matchup between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. Stephen Gostkowski's 54-yard field goal with 1 second remaining Sunday kept the New England Patriots unbeaten with a 27-26 victory over the New York Giants.
After Josh Brown made his fourth field goal of the game with 1:47 remaining, Tom Brady drove the Patriots (9-0) 44 yards, converting a fourth-and-10 on the series. Gostkowski, the NFL's leading scorer the last three seasons, sent his winning kick soaring through the uprights.

This was a good game. It had me on the edge of my seat at the end. Great comeback from the pats, but it sucks that we lost edelman for a while

As Giants fans we're used to this kind of result. It's the same game against the Cowboys (1st game), Falcons and Saints this year. The Giants put up a great effort and get their fans all riled up for the win ... and then they shatter your soul in the waning moments.
Now you know how the Patriots' fans feel after '07 and '11.

A few thoughts on the game (from a PATS fan):
1)No room for trash talk against Giants fans. Giants played a helluva game and i really thought IT was happening again. GG
2)Midway through the third when our offense was stagnant i thought about edelman and how he is so integral to our offense. Then the announcers reminded me about how Victor Cruz was still alive and i just thought about how the giants could have any semblance of that 2011 beast of a receiver and add it to their current receiveing corps. Terrifying
3)Really crazy to see all the contested catches the Giants receivers were making. It really made me wonder when the last time Brady had someone that could do that. He threw one up to Scott Chandler earlier this year, but man its been a long time. The irony about gronk is that he’s wide open so much that he really hasn’t made any crazy catches
4)I though that the REFs played too big a role in this game. From the absurd amount of DPI’s, the questionable OPIs on Gronk, the bizarre holding on Andrews that led to the brady int and the catch/no catch by Odell. In the end, i do believed they ultimately canceled out tho. If casual NFL fans are looking for someone to blame, look at the colts front office, who, after the AFC chamionship in 03 or 04 complained to the NFL about the physical play of the pats corners. Now we play flag football
5)Tough not having Collins in the game. Such a strong presence int he run/pass. I felt Sheard wasn’t really himself today , hopefully he will improve
6) Was really surprised that BB stayed in Man after the first few deep bombs but it payed off in the end. Still concerened about Melvin. Logan Ryan and Colman had sub-par games but they have played well all year.
7)Butler on Odell was really something to watch. Butler has stepped it up considerably. Really happy about his development

Malcom Butler is our savior man. He saved us in the red zone twice. Once in the SB something that we failed to do twice and now against a team that we failed to beat in a while. Thank you Butler.

We got our redemption but not without a war. This was our hardest win in idk how long. It looked like the giants would do it again. We all have our kryptonite teams. And we finally beat ours. But not without losses on both sides. What a war. Giants have nothing to be upset about. They bested us in two super bowls. Once while we were undefeated. But now we have our redemption. For the record Odell made the catch. 2 feet in bounds he had possession of the football as he was able to bring it down and into his body then he was able to extend his arms out with the ball. It's a Touchdown! And no you don't have to be a runner in the ends one because then the two feet at the back of the ends one or on the sideline would not count.

The call on the play was that he didn't establish himself as a runner. The receiver has to have two feet down AND ALSO establish himself as a runner with full possession of the ball. Honestly, (as a Pat's fan) I wouldn't have been too mad if we had lost. I know getting some revenge by beating an arch rival is important, but either way the Pats are by far the better team and the Giants are mediocre (besides the superbowl wins). I'll take a few losses to one team if it means we still win 4 superbowls and win at least 11 games a season while the Giants struggle. The only time the Giants seem like a good team is against the Patriots, it's that simple.

As a Patriots fan, I could say that the 54 yard field goal at the end had to beat the most satisfying thing to watch throughout the whole game. I mean, think about it. One second left in the game, and they come back with three points with a length attempt that not too many kickers could probably be at and get the field goal. Still undefeated, GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!

that was one hell of a game
This Giant team is way too inconsistent and always play to the level of their opponent. Don't have their own identity besides blowing fourth-quarter leads and poor clock management by the coaching staff. If they playing the Eagles, they go play that level if they play the patriots then they play The patriots level. Buccaneers , Cowboys etc. However the opponent plays the Giants match it and either ends just squeaked with a win by doing one good thing or the other team messing up or Giants completely melt down at the end.
As a Pats fan, I have a love-hate relationship with the Giants. And being able to beat them, while staying undefeated, is the best thing to happen since winning last years SB. Helluva game and props to the Giants! The only team to really figure us out and play us to the last down. I hope we don't see you later on down the road.

Has anyone noticed two of the defending champions warriors and patriots are both undefeated and literally unstoppable right now. both teams are going back to back with championships Mark my words!! Stephen Curry and Tom Brady are both playing at mvp levels this season and Brady and curry are both on the same mission this season as well because a lot of people are both calling there championships lucky and not deserved because warriors play injured teams in the playoffs and curry faced injured point guards and didn't have to play okc spurs and clippers. Tom Brady was guilty of deflating the balls which he clearly didn't (by the way I've been a Brady and curry fan for a loooonngg time now.

As a Patriots fan you have to respect the way the Giants play the Patriots better than any other team. Good coaching and a NFC team no one can count out or predict how they will play next week. What a game but what a huge loss for aldermen. I think Amendola is going to become the star he can be but in terms of heart, guts a real team guy it's a huge loss.
People were saying that the pats would win easily, but I know it was gunna be down to the wire. Game of the week.
