I really enjoy your video. When I get to near the end where you have the 2 screws for the torque sensor, I am unable to pull the shaft out because the electrical line is short. How did you work it out where you are able to pull shaft out like you did?
When you pull off those two bolts, I just wiggled a little it is stretching the line, but I didn’t pull too hard. Maybe it’s the position of the steering column. Maybe it needs to be up or down. I have to take it apart again so when I do that, I’ll see if there’s anything that I can add to this.
I greased it and it didn’t seem to help, it looks like on this car also with the 17 inch wheels it had a different power steering unit, noticed the yellow wires
Thanks for posting the video anyway as it really helps to show how to disassemble the steering column.
I will post the whole thing when I find the correct power steering unit and have time to install!

It’s just the beating you can grease it up and it will be like new , you forgot to disconnect. The batteries 😮

Did you figure out it's the plastic flower shaped bushing that causes the rattle? Toyota power steering damper part # 45254-28040
