- Realtree Global Hunting: This week Team Wild are hunting red stags in the beautiful and majestic Scottish Highlands.
Team Wild's Keith Anderson, and Steve Wild are on point, looking to take a big red stag. Being out in the wilds of the Scottish Highlands can be very daunting, many miles away from any signs of civilisation luckily, Tim Healy, who knows the area like the back of his hand, joins Keith and Steve on the Hunt.
Out on the western edge of the Creag Meagaidh National Nature Reserve and Special Area of Conservation, it boasts stunning scenery created by its fascinating glacial past. Features such as the "parallel roads" the remnants of the glacial lochs that dominated the landscape.
Numbers of deer across the highlands massively high, and in order to maintain the local habitat and eco-system, sustainable hunting and stalking of the deer is essential, and also brings in huge revenue for the local economy, and also enables the likes of Team Wild, and you guys, to bring some tasty meat to the table!
Enjoy!

"I can just about make out their post code." This guy has my Granda's amazing sense of humour.
I absolutely love that Tim is dressed in what I assume is traditional hunting fashion. No camo needed, brilliant!
I've heard that tweed is very good for the outdoors. Been told that even when wet it still keeps you warm.
Tweeds very good for keeping warm
Tweed keeps you very camouflaged withings the highlands
I love these vids when you show the dressing at the end .Smashing video , again .
Thanks Steven!
Cracking video again guys
Glad to see the
RK EAGLE KNIFE

What a guide, epic guy! Beautifull hunting.
He was brilliant. Tim would make the trip an experience even if you did not manage to shoot a deer. A true gentleman!

It's well worth it. An experience you will never forget. Thanks for watching.
Well-done Steve..
Cheers Tony.
Great shot!
243 for red deer? Seems a bit small
Wow! That sure is some beautiful countryside. What is the elevation in feet in the area you were hunting? Also, do the stags have any natural predators?
Would like to see more!
Gregg Gillette looks like between 2000-3500 ft to me . No natural predators left over here the last wolves were shot in the1800s only guns and cars now .
We're the only natural predator left that can take red deer.
Between about 1500-3000 ft. And no Wolves, Bears and Lynxes have gone extinct. So humans are the only natural predators now.
Hi Steve nice shooting
2 hunters and Sherlock 🕵️♂️
Going scotland for christmas braught rifle ready!
Great video, but why is tim captioned as a ghillie? He is the stalker, steve and keith are the guests or the rifle.
Ghillie or gillie is a Scots term that refers to a man or a boy who acts as an attendant on a fishing, fly fishing, hunting, or deer stalking expedition, primarily in the Highlands or on a river such as the River Spey. In origin it referred especially to someone who attended on his employer or guests.(WIKI)
its a shame you have got to have money to hunt for Red Stag and other kinds of deer in Scotland i wish i could do it and afford it
Is a GP fine as a countersignature on a shotgun application ??.
i hunting buddy of me and my dad got a huge one last year
and i thought these things smell bad on the outside!
scotts new derision
sherlock holmes supervision
michaels new mission
Did he just leave the entrails out on the mountain side?
Yes, the green offal is inspected and then opened and left out.....As soon as the shot was fired we could hear the ravens crowing away....They knew there was a free dinner on the go!
It’s called gralaching
anyone know how to make a deer trap?
well good shoot but it a bit risk taking since a doe was standing behind him
M Johansson it’s called a hind
Thats very unprofessional from the ghillie and client to shoot when there's another deer behind the one being shot...
The man in at the front is not a ghillie he is a the gamekeeper or stalker
243 a bit marginal for red
scott and rich hunting
bucks are big they are rutting
jody knows something
Save animals
Jerry Chan my wife's Thai and It's for the meat is better and I know it's not nice but you have to do what you have to do
Red Stag with a .243? Bit small don't you think? Good shot anyway.
Sam Mono nope perfect that’s the guys full time job he knows his stuff .range windige etc
Why do u choose to shoot them in the heart and lungs and not a head shot ?? Great vid once guys best hunting channel on you tube keep up the good work grasmere16
Well, you see, one shot nearly always results in a near instantaneous kill, whereas the other nearly always results in ripping part of the animal's face off and having it run off, provided that you don't miss.
If you shoot a hind in the head it’s ok but a stag you wouldn’t want to as you might want to keep the antlers
Do not aim for a head shot! It's a small target compared to its body so the likelihood of missing the beast or maiming it is near guaranteed. I saw a young stag on the estate that I live on running about for a good few minutes with its jaw blown off because some clever shit aimed for its head.
*Don't fucking do it!*
It's more safer to take a heart shot he could miss the head and neck the stag and it could run off plus taking a head shot ruins the chance of a good trophy
Have you guys every gave a thought about how the animal you kill feels?
What are you? A vegetarian?
Aloysius Ng im a semi vegan.
Well, that explains a lot, I suppose.
I am assuming you consume meat/meat-related products on occasion, no?
Aloysius Ng no.
