Welsh Audio WA-2K Amplifier, Class D, Monoblock, Fan, Bass knob with clip light. There is also a clip light on the amp.
Be sure that you have the proper electrical in your vehicle, stay below clipping, and never wire this amp below 1 ohm.

Full bridge is better below 100hz anyway, International Rectifier (The company who makes the vast majority of components for class D amps) has released various white papers on the subject.

Do you know Blake Brockhaus who's working at Digital Designs in Oklahoma? He's got access to DD's Audio Precision amp tester. You might try getting ahold of him to see if he will test it for you. You'll get ALL the info with that device.

looks very nice, but why do full bridge amps of this size always come with 4 gauge instead of 0? big price difference?
If you get True Quality OFC wire 4g can support up to 3k if you have short runs like Suv with a battery or lithium bank in the back hatch next to the sub box. Anything over like 6ft run or so then you'll use 1/0 with 4g reducer.
The newer generation Full bridge amps are starting to become very efficient.
Korean amps are very efficient as well but in order to make power they WANT POWER. most are standard 1/0 or multiple runs of 1/0 being more than 1 terminal head on the amplifier.

That’s awesome! That would actually be a really good match-up! If you get it, just wire it to 1 ohm and stay out of clipping.
@@stereomojo I was thinking the same thing. I will need to add a second alternator to keep my truck running for starters. There are no high output models available for my truck. I currently have a SKAR 75.4AB for the front stage and a single RP1200.1 running an Alpine SWX12D4 @2ohms. Those 2 amps alone will shut my truck off at idle pulling 200+ amps of current. Was much worse when I had the RP1200.1 @ ½ohm running two SKAR EVL12D2's in a Gately Audio enclosure tuned at 35Hz. Playing down to 17Hz was the thing to do with that beast, but would kill the power to the PCM and shut down the engine, lol.

@@stereomojo 2002 Mitsubishi Montero XLS. The interior has been fully fortified with SecondSkin Pro sitting on 33x11.50 R18's with Centerline rims. Amazing work truck/SUV/grocery getter/family hauler. Currently at 226k miles.

Yes, especially wiring it to 4 ohms, that’s smart. Then you’ve got plenty of power available if you need it in the future.

@stereomojo correct. I'm sure other folks have thought about having their own amps made I know I have. Just to have something with your own creativity and name means alot.
I think Audiopipe made a 2k was meant to be a 3k not that exact finish because it's audiopipe. Should be the same board similar features. Marked as a 3k but max power was 2100 to 2400 BigD did a video on it.

Can I use this amp as a mid-range amplifier?
Yes, but it could be overkill power wise, depending on how many speakers you put on it. Also, it’s a 1 channel, so the ohm load is important. And there would be no fading or balance.
