Adele is such a fabulous person. I've seen many interviews with her and she's very funny, self-deprecating, bawdy, salty, and very very honest. And her music exposes her soul to all of us in the most wonderful and intimate way. Such a talent and someone I'd love to sit down and party with. And something I've noticed as I've gotten older, the tears flow often and easy.

This is the brilliance of self written music, where music and lyrics transcends into naked, pure emotion.

I took a lady out to dinner back when Adele was just breaking. Nice dinner. Walked out and on the little stone patio they were projecting an Adele concert. Sat down (grabbed a blanket out of the truck) and watched the show. Spectacular. The lady is an entertainer with a world class vocal ability. Made for an unforgettable date. This song resonates.

Thank you for your raw and open reaction to this. Thank you for reminding us that we need to peel back the apathy bandages we have placed over our hearts because it is important to feel. I made the mistake of watching Dead Poets Society days after Robin Williams died - I thought it tore me up the first time I saw it....but that was a whole new level of vulnerability. Keep allowing yourself to feel. I wish you joy in abundance.

It's a shame that young people don't watch talk shows on television as that's where we learned about the personalities of our favorite music artists and actors. Adele has a great sense of humor, and her working class British accent really comes out. She's quite down to earth and vulnerable and has done sit-down serious interviews about her life with hosts like Oprah Winfrey.
Dead Poet's Society is definitely a great emotional movie that touches artistic types of people who have conflicts with their parents. Some other great tearjerkers I remember really touching me when seeing them in theaters are The Color Purple, Glory, Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List.

There may be a very simple reason why Adele’s recordings hit you (in the feels) the way they do, and why she stands out from almost every other artist out there today, is because she does not use auto tune. I’m not saying that she isn’t ridiculously talented, cuz she so obviously is. But there are lots of other very talented popular singers out there now, but they are taking the rawness and true emotion out of their work by using autotune. Maybe cuz they need it or maybe cuz their management insists on it or maybe cuz they like the finished product better that way (I do not.) But this is also why so many of us who grew up in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s are so unimpressed by most of the talent doing popular music nowadays cuz we grew up hearing nothing but raw, true performances from the very souls and hearts of singers back then every time we turned on the radio or out a record on. Adele is a powerhouse and crazy talented-and autotune free!- so I am not surprised that you love her work!

I like what you said about allowing emotions. People say I wear my heart on my sleeve, and that's exactly why. I'm not wallowing in a pool of self-pity, but if I'm sad I'm sad. I'm not going to walk around pretending to be okay all the time, because it's okay to not be.
A lot of people don't like that. One of my colleagues said to me yesterday that I should just distract myself and tell myself "Get yourself together!". Keep on keeping on.
Nope. Only way out is through. I'm not crying at work, I'm just not smiling and talking less. I laugh less, and when I do it's out of politeness. I do my job. Let me be moody.
Out in the world, feeling your feelings apparently can seem off-putting to others. I don't care. Let me mope for a week and you'll have the happy me back sooner.

Yeah, Adele is hilarious. She's great, though. Love her. Her voice is stunning, and she's definitely a genuine and open person.
This guy she's talking about is the one she said she was going to marry and you commented on her saying that on another reaction. She did get together with him, they had a child, but split eventually.
Dead Poet's Society was a very good movie, an emotional movie, for sure. One of my favorites.
I haven't listened to but a couple of yours from 21 but my favorites from that album are probably this one, Rolling in the Deep, Turning Tables, One and Only, Set Fire to the Rain.

Hello Anton, thank you for this awesome reaction to Adele, she is definitely an icon and touches many hearts.
I have a special request for you, I would love it if you could react to the French song SOS d'un terrien en détresse by Dimash Kudaibergen from the 2017 show "I am a Singer" in China. He was chosen as a wild card to sing amongst very accomplished singers from China. He was the first person to sing in the competition and once it was televised the week after, he became a sensation over night. His first album went platinum within 37 seconds. He is considered the best vocalist of our time. He is 27 years old from Kazakhstan, has been singing from the age of 5 yrs old. He speaks 4 different languages, (Kazakh, Russian, English and learning Mandarin), and sings in 14 different languages, he is a multi-instrumentalist, with a PhD in music composition. Dimash is very humble and a beautiful person inside and out. Every song that he sings will shock you, as every song is different. I hope you agree to react to him, you will not be disappointed! Hope to see you soon! Love from Canada 💖💖

What you said after the song! I felt that. You see how it ripples out and passes onto others. It's because you were speaking while in the influence of emotional release. Adele turned your tap on brother. It's what artists do or real ones. That's why the arts are connected in language to angelic lore.
Muse (an angelic messenger that entertains to get our full attention to pass a message)
A muse... Amuse ment a muse mentality. Amuse meant.
They sneak all sorts of secret knowledge into English language. Casting spells on us. Spelling. It's like magic and that's why they are so obsessed with control and censorship of music. Because its got emense power to influence emotionaly
