#LUFC #LeedsUnited #PremierLeague #EPL - กีฬา
Red Bull want Leeds, they've wanted to own Leeds for a long time. They want to own a football team in England. I have no doubt of this. Leeds is the team they've picked out and Leeds Uniteds potential is there for all to see. It's down to our fanbase and history. Ideally they'd like to turn Leeds in to Red Bull FC. however they've realised it
s not going to happen. The fans wouldn't allow it. Which is why they've gone away and come back, accepting they can't turn Leeds in to Red Bull FC. They do still want in to English football. My guess is they have football fans at the top of their organisation.
I have no problem qith RedBull as a brand, or becoming our owners. I do have a problem with RedBull turning Leeds in to an extension of their brand, product and marketing machine. I'm a Leeds fan not a RedBull fan and as long RedBull recognise that then there is no problem.
It sounds like a very optimistic theory. But I'm praying you're right
Leeds Red Bulls has a nice ring to it. Twinned with Leeds Rhinos of Rugby League.
As if they give a shit about fans. They’ll fill the Red Bull Arena regardless what the team is called.
I think that hits the nail on the head tbh well my book , well put
1208am in Los Angeles. You lot rock ty for the content. Phil Hay is always worth my time, oh and you lot as well.
Good to here from the USA Leeds all over the world 😂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Sorry bro. LA an absolute shithole
@@TheGeneral_LUFC ABIT like Leeds then in the good old days 😂
@@TheGeneral_LUFC Why do you need to insult people regarding where they live?
@CB-xr1eg cos America is a shithole. Just stating a fact. Didn't insult the lad.
I'm glad for Red Bull to be involved as long as the club and ground name don't change plus, the shirt remains white they can do what they want as far as marketing goes.
Red Bull are anti-football. It's not in our interests to be "glad" they are involved. The fox is in the hen house now and no true football fan could look an Austria Salzburg fan in the eye and say they are "glad" that Red Bull are involved at their club.
We've had red on the shirts before. It'll be fine. It's just a colour
@@davidthornton9214 Biggest sponsorship deal in EFL history. I can put up with a bit of red on the shirts.👍
the plural of roof is actually roofs despite hoof being hooves
Are you an English Teacher? You sound like one lol!
The opportunity leeds have to kick us on to the next level is now there. Wonder if redbull has an eye on Thorpe arch, I have been lucky to see the training centre they have in salzburg. It's light years ahead of what we have in the UK.
My thoughts exactly when I first heard of their involvement that’s the first thing that came into mind. State of the art training facilities.
So if it is so good why ain’t RB like RM Real Madrid?
@@user-jd7hp7ce3l because real Madrid have been backed by the royal family of Spain for over a century. They have always had money to burn.
@@tomwalton7366not true. What players have RB been able to recruit? This is the key recruitment training is the complementary icing on the cake to recruited talent and Madrid don’t actually have the best youth in their academy. But their recruitment at pro level is eased by the contracts and sports success they have.
09:56 in Morley, wondering what all these comments are about.
1217am in Los Angeles. Still wondering what a conveyance even is. :)
Sorta like gathering and signing all the required paperwok and titles etc for transfer of a property. We do conveyancing here in Australia as well.
Heading for the next level, Keeping Cooper, Shackleton, Byram and Bamford, yeah right🤣🤣
Let’s not bother with a squad. That will definitely mean success.
@@ardentspy Success will only be achieved by moving on from the past
Perhaps they have an idea to extend their range of beverages with a new "White Bull"concoction.
compared to the existing RB entities, we have a greater worldwide following than them, and are strong in particular in UK, Ireland and Northern Europe, Australia and US, and so makes RB marketing stronger in these areas . Also, Premiership is the most popular TV league in the world, and so our previous appearances and hopefully next years will give them more exposure than any other sponsorship will give them. And note , all previous direct investments by RB have been in small, uncompetitive and financially stretched entities (eg both F1 teams and Salzburg) or in the case of Leipzig, in a small 5th division team going nowhere .... Equivalent would be buying Osset Albion, investing millions and turning them into RB Wakefield
08:50am in Holbeck. Still wondering what a tracker mortgage is.
Marched over Holbeck moor a few thousand times to the mighty whites ground 😂😂
Tracks the bank interest rate, Dont do it?
Google it ffs
Never ever have one
Great to get this investment - all eyes on recruitment now, got to get it right with no wasteful spending
12:54 pm Farnley, Should i get up?
I am happy RB are sponsoring Leeds this will bring better players they could build a training and fitness center for us as they love the sports science behind it, we need to embrace this and move forward or end up like Everton trying to compete with no backing.
I reckon redbull have far more invested in leeds that we think. I reckon they own a huge chunk of 49ers investments
What’s the currently known record for best sponsorship deal in the champ so we at least know what the figure is north of
12.37 pm in armley couldn't give a fuck what time it is in america
Originally from Castleford, UK - lifetime Leeds fan (Yes i remember the 1970's teams). Living in Chicago USA now and just watched the Nascar Xfinity race.
Shane van Gisbergen won the race - when he popped out of his car and his helmet was spattered with RED BULL logos.
RED BULL will bring so much exposure to Leeds United - they are worldwide, not just a drink, not just F1, but all sports around the world. Cannot wait to see what Leeds do this upcoming season.
glad they've changed their tune. Was doom n gloom when the news broke
Tell me some good news!
A MINORITY SHARE COULD BE 49%
@@BeauLufc25 good job your not a businessman then. A minority stake is any stake that is not a controlling stake...I.e. 49% is a minority non controlling stake. 51% is majority and controlling stake based on 2 owner principle such as Leeds situation right now. It's prerty simple stuff not sure why it needs explaining for you to understand the terminology.
@@DaleSteel So it doesn't matter
Isn’t this discussion a bit behind the curve? No mention of the retention list or possible players coming in & out!
I'm guessing my question is really dumb, but I can't get it out of my brain. Help! 49ers Enterprises owns Leeds, right? But as I understand it, stars like Will Ferrell, and businesses like Red Bull aren't able to invest directly in Leeds United, only in 49ers Enterprises. Which would make them minority stockholders in 49ers Enterprises, but give them no more ownership of LUFC than they might have of the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL, for example. So for practical purposes, all Red Bull have is a super neat sponsorship deal and pose no direct "threat" to LUFC, if my logic is correct. Clearly I am missing something, hope someone can clarify for me.
you are correct .. Similarly, you have a mortgage with Nationwide.... I am a member and have savings with Nationwide. I therefore part own Nationwide but i dont own your house, or indeed the Nationwide HQ in Swindon !!!
@@martinr6298in your scenario Nationwide owns your house until paid and borrowing your money at no interest in which you volunteered. Not exactly the same
@martinr6298 why are you telling him he's correct? He isn't correct and it's far more complex. You obviously don't have a clue so why comment?
No bud your wrong.
@@DaleSteel I figured I AM wrong, but just looking for a simple explanation of why. What am I missing?
Sick of hearing "biggest commercial deal in EFL history".....
Of course it is FFS, it would be a massive failure by the club if it wasn't. The deals generally improve each year anyway, on top of which we are by far the biggest fish in the EFL pond, and the new TV deal means that the efl and the championship is getting more TV coverage than ever before. Every championship club is guaranteed to be shown on TV at least 24 times, with 5 championship games live each weekend. Every club should be getting their best commercial deals ever, it stands to reason that ours would be the biggest ever. Almost all our games will be in TV!
And yet saying all that it's still not going to be of a value that effects the playing squad. The bar for EFL shirt deals is very low so to be the biggest it doesn't have to be that big. It's not going to be an amount of money that covers a player's wage, or means we don't have to sell Archie, or means we can finally get a decent replacement for Bamford!
Why do we keep splitting the clips? Can’t we have one podcast like usual
Please
Farke as 5 games. If we are not top. The sack. Red Bull will not tolerate failure.
McDonald's sponsor Lens in France and you'll struggle to find a more global brand than that.
49ers wont sell to Red Bull until the club is well into EPL and is worth 1 billion. They be stupid otherwise. It is stupid to retain Farke and pay for players that have no upside.
I can't look at Leeds rhinos at the moment all I can think of is the Leeds bulls ffs you know they are gonna try it at some point
Shouldn't be Leeds Rhino's it should be Leeds just like Bradford Bulls should be Bradford Northern. We never accepted the change to our name and to every fan we were always Wakefield Trinity ( not Wildcats) and guess what's happened ,we have gone back to our proper name and Trinity are going to win at Wembley tomorrow unlike Leeds United .
No they aren’t, that’s absolute bollocks. The FA wouldn’t allow it as they did when Hull tried to change to Hull City tigers.
@@RayPringle-on6fy your getting charged by the Leeds bulls 🐂
I think you’re looking at the Red Bull issue from the wrong side, the solution is to simply rebrand Redbull to WhiteBull
Come on Phil, gives us some meat on the bones mate. GK,LB,RB,CB,CDM,20 a season Striker ???
Could be worse, Bud Light & Bill Gates 😂
Too many adverts, sponsored by tea towels, teaspoons and tea bags.

@@davidthornton9214 No ads here at all not for a long time. Ad Blocker takes care of that.
Yh awful Salzburg in the champs league every season 😂 I am absolutely happy with Elland Roads Red bull arena if we start challenging for big trophies! The idiots that moan about it are the sane idiots that moan and boo when we get beat and don’t win anything ever
No thanks
I am very sorry but I don't any of this at all. And from past actions your just talking up for talking ups sake. Look at the retained list. Look at the state of the players that we have. Your hyping up nothing. Red Bull are not going to have any impact.
With Farke being clueless in my opinion I do not see how we get promoted if Farke is still fixated with putting subs on 10 minutes from the end when a match is lost.
How is giving cooper a new contract taking us to the next level?
As out best players leave, the player with feet of lead is kept.
We are going to be targeted by other clubs for them to off load their dross, we are going to end up with more Firpo's for sure
Love the TSB guys. You've kept me company through our misery this season and others. But i really see no value in what Phil Hay brings to this channel. He consistently states the obvious, no unique insights, adding nothing that we don't already know. He really needs to up his game to make these podcasts worthwhile, in my honest opinion 😐
🤮
Hi Graeme
I am not such as a fan of the channel as you, but I agree absolutely with your comments about Mr.Hay. A very likeable chap but says absolutely says nothing new. People seem to suggest he’s got his finger on the pulse but he only breaks news when it’s already been broken. I don’t think he actually becomes privy to anything before the masses. He seems content to smugly sit back and feed off the misery that LUFC fans suffer and is always so non-commital. It’s just a job to him and he lacks passion.
