He is paying tribute to cult film classics I think ..Animal Farm being the main theme based with scenes from these classics like The Shining (girl on bike in hallway) Witches of Eastwick ( 3 girls round Rens feet ) A clockwork orange ( dressed in white with a cane ) Silence of the Lambs ( cannibal stair scene with lamb ) the chocolate factory (the beat ) Wind in the willows and creature from the black lagoon ( bathroom scene toad and creature in bath ) All cult classical movies.. Im sure there are more .. this is a piece of art ..nice reaction

This is deeper than you think! It's basically george Orwells animal farm in a music video, I'm also getting some trippy lewis carol visual vibes!.. it even has some early pink floyd sounding sample from the song astronomy Domine which really shouldnt work but Ren found a way of incorporating it and making it sound fire!

Ren wrote this song from George Orwell's Animal Farm which was about the Russian Revolution. My grandfather actually escaped the revolution in 1917. So this is very poignant for me. It is about the oppressed farm animals becoming part of the mainstream.

Growls and grunts are important as it adds character and oozes personality. When you watch actors do it in between saying their lines it makes the character more believable and pulls you in to attention, like when Tom Hardy grunts in taboo or in Peaky Blinders.
Ren has that all singing all rapping all dancing all acting and all performance quality to him but with an extra twist and he knows it because he can feel it in his bones and that’s a rare thing to possess when you have natural lime in your grind, you naturally magnetically pull people in.
