TY looked so solid for the whole tournament he just dismanteled everyone. I was rooting for parting and he was probably the toughest oponent but TY definitely deserves the win! :)
Parting made many mistakes, one which caused him dearly was when he made a two prongs attack but only sent one group of units instead of two. It could have been different if parting didn't make that mistake. Overall, TY did great.

Man, I was rooting for Cure, felt like it was finally time for him to shine after working so hard for so long but TY definitely outclassed him in this series and deserved to win after beating Dark earlier. GG!

Yeah... I wish they would add an hour or two of nothingness to the end of the video like uploaders use to. Sometimes makes the outcome too predictable if you can't watch it live.
That’s how GSL goes though, awesome semi finals and one sided finals. That said, I’m glad TY got his championship, he’s certainly put his time in to earn it.
TY does have great speed and multitask but i do agree that he mechanically lacks something that Maru and innovation have. He does seem the most cerebral out of the 3 big terran though.

Those 3 are my favorite terran players and I can say (in my opinion) TY is the least scary in terms of controlling multiple terran bio death balls but strategic wise. I rank him # 1. Ive heard that he studies/watches games of whoever he's up against with. The guy can make a play with the least intimidating units.
TY's tvt is number 1 out of the three. He has this game sense that lets him know the position he's in. When he's ahead he patiently closes the game. And when he's behind and about to lose, he makes his opponent work extra hard for it. I've almost never seen him being overpowered completely in a tvt.

49:28 it was this moment that told me TY was going to win, he caught the direction Cure's SCV was coming from and adjusted his SCV but cure just wasn't paying attention and let the SCV carry on in the wrong direction. Well done Emperor TY the Terrans are dominant again.
Not necessarily, when Cure's SCV met TY's, TY's already made to the right side of the sensor tower as if, it was coming from the right bottom, if you look again, Cure's vision shows very much so. Yet not seeing TY's vision shown long enough, but seems like he was going to upper left coner anyway, so he somewhat had an instinct...
I thought so too, but TY got there first and it was easier for him to see where Cure came from, likewise it was impossible for Cure to see where TY was coming from

after the 2/0 for Cure on Ro8 this was very awesome to watch, Ty is really showing uber skills at adapting to his opponents and at trying new stuff like every series

TY is so good and i expected incredible play seeing him make it to finals but this score OMG beyond expectations TY has improved so much over the past few years
Was amazing seeing people on Artosis's twitch stream this morning saying Cure is the better player, I thought then that I don't know what planet people are living on. TY is easily top 5 in the world and has been 200 IQ in his most recent games. Now he is #1. I love TY but had hoped Cure would win, because it would have been an insane victory. But Cure was always the underdog and while he played well against Inno, Inno also kinda threw. I am sad for Cure, but I am happy for TY. Incredible player and well deserved. Ro. 24 - TY goes 4-1, with only Dear able to take a match from him Ro. 16 - Tough day for TY. He smashes Solar 2-0, but loses to Cure 0-2, but does get through beating Stats and going 4-3 on the day. Cure was 4-0 on the day, credit where credit it due. Playoffs - TY enters his final form. 3-0 obliterating Dark. 4-2 making PartinG look weak, who had looked so strong against Maru. 4-0 totally dominating the final. Congrats TY!! Can't wait for Season 2 :D

Hi, i am new to SC2. Been watching for a while but just started playing 1v1 online a few days ago still yet to unlock ranked (need 10 days at least) Probably a bronze or silver standard at most. Would like a few like-minded players to play/practice with. Residing in Singapore, but not sure which server i should join, Asia or Americas?

Watching the highlights, I'm not gonna lie, I'd watch the Korean casting with subtitles any day of the week. Not that I don't love the English casters. Artosis and Tasteless are such a great team.
i went to seoul once and watched GSL live. of course i have no idea what the korean casters were saying, but they screamed a lot so i loved the experience
When the nerfs coming to Zerg, the way that P v T works late game and the fact that this guys are currently able to beat Serral and Raynor by playing bio like gods I see a bright future for Terran at the Professional level.
TY ran circles around Cure, such a smart and skilled player. Its like watching Polt in his days of splitpushing, except TY has control over just about anything that happens except when a single marine gets to kill 22 scvs and you just dont care :O He must have known how close he was to winning, only explanation i can think of
Where can I find the music of the moment when we see the players with the maps in the middle of their two heads? Or more simple the credits of the competition music?
Really bad display from Cure and too bad for the fans. He beat TY convincingly in the group stage and also had a great run against Innovation. I guess the nerves got the better of him, was hoping for a close series. Congrats to TY, he crushed Dark, Parting and Cure.
TY just use better build and control in all the game. And Cure never control the air which is one of the most important thing in TvT. He also seems too eager to throw his Marines into Tank fire, trading ineffectively to do that.
@@tigera6 yes, the marines against the tanks was really bad. And i definetly agree with the "traded ineffectively" part. Because in some of the matches he had such economical advantages, i thought for sure he was going to win some of them at least. Good harassement, bad followups/tradings, maybe a little greedy and definetly nerves...That is my opinion of Cure this final. And credits to TY, way better composure and decision making.
@Dmon Blu TY's group were Cure, Solar and Stats. This is not a group were you "test" stuff. TY barely got out of his group, so he cared very much and struggled as expected. He was in beast mode after the groups, i already stated this.

TY was great all season. Dominated Dark, soundly beat parting, destroyed Cure... Cure had a great season and looked really good, but TY is better, especially at TvT. Cure seems to have nerves, evident here (especially G3 and v innovation) GJ TY. You are a beast.
Is it just me or did Cure forget that Raven has disable? It would be useful against the bcs and he didn't use it against the siegetanks and other ravens or anything
A very good series, just not worthy of finals quality. I would rate [PartinG vs. Maru] or [TY vs. INnoVation] as the more exciting game series. Those two were just excellent.

TY might not be as mechanically gifted as Maru but damn, he's been showing way too many high IQ plays lately.
TY does have great speed and multitask but i do agree that he mechanically lacks something that Maru and innovation have. He does seem the most cerebral out of the 3 big terran though.

Those 3 are my favorite terran players and I can say (in my opinion) TY is the least scary in terms of controlling multiple terran bio death balls but strategic wise. I rank him # 1. Ive heard that he studies/watches games of whoever he's up against with. The guy can make a play with the least intimidating units.
TY's tvt is number 1 out of the three. He has this game sense that lets him know the position he's in. When he's ahead he patiently closes the game. And when he's behind and about to lose, he makes his opponent work extra hard for it. I've almost never seen him being overpowered completely in a tvt.

Not necessarily, when Cure's SCV met TY's, TY's already made to the right side of the sensor tower as if, it was coming from the right bottom, if you look again, Cure's vision shows very much so. Yet not seeing TY's vision shown long enough, but seems like he was going to upper left coner anyway, so he somewhat had an instinct...
I thought so too, but TY got there first and it was easier for him to see where Cure came from, likewise it was impossible for Cure to see where TY was coming from

Was amazing seeing people on Artosis's twitch stream this morning saying Cure is the better player, I thought then that I don't know what planet people are living on. TY is easily top 5 in the world and has been 200 IQ in his most recent games. Now he is #1.
I love TY but had hoped Cure would win, because it would have been an insane victory. But Cure was always the underdog and while he played well against Inno, Inno also kinda threw. I am sad for Cure, but I am happy for TY. Incredible player and well deserved.
Ro. 24 - TY goes 4-1, with only Dear able to take a match from him
Ro. 16 - Tough day for TY. He smashes Solar 2-0, but loses to Cure 0-2, but does get through beating Stats and going 4-3 on the day. Cure was 4-0 on the day, credit where credit it due.
Playoffs - TY enters his final form. 3-0 obliterating Dark. 4-2 making PartinG look weak, who had looked so strong against Maru. 4-0 totally dominating the final.

Watching the highlights, I'm not gonna lie, I'd watch the Korean casting with subtitles any day of the week. Not that I don't love the English casters. Artosis and Tasteless are such a great team.
i went to seoul once and watched GSL live. of course i have no idea what the korean casters were saying, but they screamed a lot so i loved the experience

Really bad display from Cure and too bad for the fans. He beat TY convincingly in the group stage and also had a great run against Innovation. I guess the nerves got the better of him, was hoping for a close series.

TY just use better build and control in all the game. And Cure never control the air which is one of the most important thing in TvT. He also seems too eager to throw his Marines into Tank fire, trading ineffectively to do that.
@@tigera6 yes, the marines against the tanks was really bad. And i definetly agree with the "traded ineffectively" part. Because in some of the matches he had such economical advantages, i thought for sure he was going to win some of them at least. Good harassement, bad followups/tradings, maybe a little greedy and definetly nerves...That is my opinion of Cure this final.
And credits to TY, way better composure and decision making.
@Dmon Blu TY's group were Cure, Solar and Stats. This is not a group were you "test" stuff. TY barely got out of his group, so he cared very much and struggled as expected. He was in beast mode after the groups, i already stated this.
That empty room was a bit sad for the celebration but i'm still very happy for TY, GG !
