I love this theme! It's so much more ominous than any track GW2 has played before- like you're fighting against something terrible, like usual, but this time it's deeply frightening and even when it ends you feel it's not over yet. Not really.
Was wondering where I could find this new battle OST and I'm glad your channel was the first place I searched! Been absolutely in love with the OST for this entire map but this battle OST is definitely quickly becoming one of my fav EoD tracks overall! Thank you for the beautiful remix! It may take a while for these tracks to become available for purchase on iTunes but I know I'm definitely already looking forward to it!
I obviously love that we got new music for this patch, and I really like this piece, but... it slightly bothers me how this sounds so much like some Darkspawn tracks from Dragon Age: Origins XD Don't get me wrong, I think this is an epic battle theme and fits the setting perfectly, but the brass motif especially is so eerily similar that I can't help but feel like a Hurlock might appear from behind a block of jade.
No way, when I play FFXIV I have no personal connection to the music. I prefer how the composers really craft each piece in gw2 and how it ties directly into the story of the game itself.
It's really a matter of personal taste I guess. Music in most japanese games feels just disjointed, all over the place, while more typical scores of GW2 or WoW fit their games contribute to the atmosphere and fantasy very well most of the time
EoD has introduced electronic sounding synthesisers into the music while still overall retaining the instrumental feel of the soundtrack. More stuff like that could be cool, maybe some metal tidbits, though I don't think I'd want wholly synth or rock sounding tracks in GW2. Or, at least not a lot of them. I also dislike FF14's overabundance of vocal pop songs.

The music is one of the best parts of this patch, yes. Well done with the remix!
Thanks :)

Devil works fast, michram works faster
@@jana_6697hahaha :D
This goes hard, what a banger
Is this the music that plays during the boss fight in the story instance?
Yes, and also while fighting few champions post-meta.

😂😂😂
I get a feeling that Wei Wuxian from the Untamed is going to appear out of nowhere, when I hear the melody of Daegeum 😂
Oh wow it's true I'm not noticed it but now I can hear it
sad its only for champ train
it also plays during the battle with the story boss.
This music is great but i am still thinking that songs like in FFXIV would make marketing so much better. I love it but it is not making me hyped.

Absolutely not
