Yeah, Medic, Support and Engineer are the only classes you really "need" and they have interesting passive perks. Meanwhile Recon is just...sniper and Assault....does not get anything too interesting, like you got the Grapple line (recon does as well) and Riot shield, which is the classes only unique gadget. Assault DOES have like 3 passives that help with weapon handling but honestly WHO CARES?! They do have the second most Armor (only beaten out by support) by default till you unlock other armors.
Completely agree with you. Honestly, I don't think those assault passives have ever helped me, and the medkit has provided 100x more value than those passive ever have and will. The armors they have do more to hinder u than really help u tbh. Nothing appealing to the assault class.
@@khrounose Like Medic Heals Obviously, Bandaging twice as fast as other classes, dragging people faster and the medkit is GRATE for farming XP. (you can drop it on the ground by pressing X but for some reason it doesn't give you point if people use it, which is weird cus the ammo crates do the same thing) Engi Deals with Vehicles and can provide some explosive long range fire with the RPG (anti vehicle mines HE RPG, even has a repair tool you can put in ETHER slot) and Support in addition to providing (not just ammo but resuppy in general, Ammo, bandages, Grenades extera) is able to build Defenses INSTANTLY! No need to slowly build them up like other classes do, they come fully built.
@@khrounose I know right. The only reason i know this is cus people keep putting up an IMAGE of the 5 classes (not including squad leader, who lets face it only exists to put down the Squad Beacon) on screen in their videos. Can probably find it by googling it.
@@jaywerner8415 You can find it by googling it, but how would u even know about it to begin with TO google it? I know about it because I was actively participating in the playtests and researching a lot into the mechanics of the game. Many other people wont/dont do so.

Playing any other class rather then medic taking a fight winning and being left with 1 hp to die. Good game design, why would i play another class xd. Medics only problem is running out of ammo but even then i could always call a resupply there's no need for support.

Not to mention EVERY class can equip C4. So its not like the medic can't deal with Vehicles ether, long as you sneak up on them.
