    The sg550 with long barrel and se5 grip has recently become my favorite weapon and that’s because it’s the only assault rifle you can put a medium range scope on and actually be able to hit anyone. Yeah I lose every close range encounter to every other assault rifle and smg, but no one beats me in that 60-80 meter range.
    Some people might not like this strat because the muzzle flash is so freaking huge on the sg550, but I’m that guy who plays night maps with flashlights and flares, so I’ve kind of grown to like it, let the enemy know where I’m at idc I’ll take them all on.

    You changed my views on the m4a1. I still love the ak15 because I can reliably hit shots with it and it just feels like a cannon, specially with headshots but I think at close ranges the m4a1 should be way more reliable

    Very good video, love that you shared this information to the community.
    My thoughts:
    1. This is good information for all-rounder guns. Not the best at range or the best in CQC, just in-between. Playstyle aside this is good for the average player.
    2. Firerate is important for recoil control as well. High recoil means less if the firerate is slower since it gives you more time between each shot for the aim to reset to center.
    3. Vertical recoil is controllable, but horizontal is not (unless slow firerate). Focusing on lower vertical recoil is unimportant if your horizontal is too high.

      Horizontal recoil is a tricky stat to explain, and without having examples it's harder to explain but generally you pick guns that have low horizontal recoil to begin with. Reducing horizontal usually comes at a cost of hurting the vertical recoil, or not giving enough of a reduction to warrant it. But again, its hard to explain without examples. If the vertical recoil is in a place where it feels good than by all means reduce horizontal. I'll look into making a video explaining horizontal more in depth. One of the main points of this video is that TTK isn't AS important as most players make it out to be. Still is, but consider the consequences of it.

      Firerate does increase recoil, I actually recorded it in this video but cut it out cause it led down a tangent LOL

    The TTK calculation assumes they have no armour? I believe medium armour is the most common right? Maybe best to assume they have medium armour on or calculate both TTKs?

    Awesome video. Thanks for explaining it. I am wondering, with your emphasis on recoil reduction, do you mind explaining your feeling of using the Heavy barrel on M4A1 vs the Tactical? Is the 4hit breakpoint on armor really worth the recoil increase? Also The first shot kick gets increased a lot, do you find that really a hinderance? Thanks!

      I would never equip anything other than the long barrel and heavy barrel because it gets rid of a lot of the TTK. BTK is a very misleading stat as it doesn't take firerate into account. There is no 4 hit break point, it is a 4 shot kill with it equipped. Without it equipped it would be a 5 shot kill. It goes from a 0.343 ttk to a 0.257 ttk with the heavy barrel which is HUGE since most players are running normal. It even increases ur TTK against exo helmets. The trick is to balance the recoil and TTK time as reasonably as possible.

    How do you compare the g36c to the hk419? hk has higher accuracy but slower firerate and is arguably more controllable than the g36c, but g36c has shorter ttk so at what point does the difference in ttk matter?

      The problem is you're comparing just the two weapons with different strengths. The G36C isn't going to have the range the HK419 does, but the M4 does! Compare the hk419 to the m4 and you can see u can have similar recoil (even better I would say since I always use a Quick-A Mag) and less ttk time than the hk419. The HK419 actually has a little bit more horizontal recoil than the M4 I would like it to have. It really comes down to breaking down the numbers, and testing the gun. You want to look for stats that are meaningful gains over the M4 or g36c and can and will result in you beating them. Once you determine the stats you have to realize when a situation calls for them. But you will never be able to tell the future, so you have to play accordingly and thats what you should pick. I am going to be fighting (hopefully) within 120m which is what I would say is in my effective range with the G36C. If I am playing on a bigger more open map I will pick the M4A1 over the G36C even though it has worse TTK I know I am more effective up to 150m with the M4A1.
      TL;DR
      Break down the stats, look for meaningful gains over the other. Ask questions like "Can I reliably beat a M4 in the situations I usually put myself in?" If you can see a clear benefit of the HK419 over the M4 then the 0.021 TTK difference won't matter.
      I've taken the liberty to break it down for you and go through what I am looking at mainly to give you as clear of an example as possible:
      Lets take the M4A1, HK419 and compare the stats. Is it worth I lose the 0.021 seconds of ttk (against normal armor) for .08 less vertical recoil, 0.34 more horizontal recoil, 1.31 more accuracy, 0.59 slower reload speed (unless u equip the quick a on the hk419 which makes its stats even worse and even takes away 6 bullets)? Also since the firerate is 40 RPM slower it means ur TTK time is really higher if you miss a shot. As you can see the stats u gain for the loss of ttk are not really worth it. That 0.08 vertical recoil u have over the m4 will not result in you killing an M4 user easier, any of the stats don't result in you killing an M4 user.

    scarh is amazing man, ur not having in consideration the projectile velocity, wich for me matters a lot. Sure is a different rol not run and gun and require positioning map knowledge etc to be effective. I dont think you can pinpoint the best weapon just doing theoretical research

    idk.. the m4 feels awful because of the long ads time. By the time you're still zooming in with the m4 you can have already hit the enemy with another weapon like the scar and sent their crosshair to the sky because of the ridiculous aim punch in this game.

      M4 is literally an S tier weapon. Are you using a red dot or a medium sight? Also if you're struggling with recoil, use attachments that reduce recoil and know when to full auto and when not to. With a SCAR you're rarely going to be full auto firing at people past 50 meters. For the most part the SCAR is good as a semi auto rifle that you only use full auto for certain close range situations.

      I tried to, but it just sends me to the website, and not to the actual spreadsheet. I don’t have the game yet, but I’d love to see a TH-cam video with simply a picture of the weapon stats for every gun. From damage to draw speed. Seriously want to make a spreadsheet for my self 😂

The link should bring you to a website called "Battlebit Weapon Hub" and it will have text highlighted green or red. Click on the specific category of weapons u want to inspect, or if you want a overall view on just TTK click "TTK SHEET 2.0" and it should just send you to the actual spreadsheet. Lmk if you have any more questions

    OP TIP FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO READ do not care at all about vertical it dose not matter at all and here's why the guy your trying to shoot is not above or below you the are alwase side to side or up on a hill but they are static in the vertical axis this means you want to make the gun as accurate as possible in the horizontal plane and then up the sensitivity on the vertical axis to 2x or even 3x what your used to it will suck to get used to but means you will have amazing controll over tracking moving targets side to side and feel almost no vertical recoil while shooting
