Two things I loved about Star Trek in the 90s - Captain Janeway and the Dominion War (on DS9). When she appeared as Admiral Janeway in Nemesis everybody in the theatre cheered. She was the high point of that movie.
Picardo is the actor, not the character. I liked him myself, but to each his own opinion. Beckett, however, is not a character in Star Trek. That character was in Quantum Leap. The actor who played him, of course, was Scott Bakula, and the character name you're looking for is Archer.
@XCritonX Well sorry for not noticing the sarcasm. No I'm not a Eunuch. I'm just someone that supports equality and human rights. I feel that women should be treated the same way we men are treated. Some places women are still treated badly and get discriminated.
Hehe. You're hilarious. I'm dying right here. Seriously, do your research. Voyager is named after the Voyager probes that actually ARE exploring the final frontier and--not at that time, but now--Voyager has gone farther than any other human made aircraft. I'd want my ship named after that.
@timster112 I admit some things about her annoys me but I still like Janeway even though maybe not much as I love Picard or Kirk. I like her as much I like Sisko and Archer.
Picardo is a terrible annoying character. I can't understand why people like him so much. And Janeway is the 2nd best captain, after Sisko. Followed by Picard, Kirk and ultimately Beckett.
@TheStarTreker I agree that in some situations woman are way better then us men. But I think they chose the wrong woman. Janeway annoys the crap out of me..

Absolutely stunning captain! What a marvelous role model for any female authority figure ❤️❤️❤️
Kate Mulgrew ROCKED as Captain Janeway!!! - get over it folks - she was the BEST captain..... heheheheh... Love that Voyager show....
Great show I still watch it kate is a great actress god bless her
Kathryn Janeway has what was best in Kirk and Picard.
The's the best captain, so far

@XCritonX: And what is wrong with a female captain?

Funny; the first woman captain and they name her ship after a minivan.
woman captains did always either blow up the ship or get it lost in the Delta quadrant in star trek... :P Nah but female cpt's are no issue.
