- In this episode of The Cordial Catholic, I'm joined by Dr. Kenneth Howell to unpack exactly what the very first Christians believed about the Eucharist. Dr. Howell is a Protestant convert to Catholicism - led by his research into the Eucharist - and has a great deal to say about this central aspect of Catholic belief.

It was former Protestant converts to the Catholic Church who influenced me mightily during my journey into the Church, especially former Protestant ministers like Scott Hahn and Steve Ray, among others. It helped that I was working in a Catholic bookstore at the time with lots of apologetics in tape sets. (Yes, tape.) So I was very aware of a movement from Protestantism toward Catholicism. My own journey took me from Methodism to New Age to Yogananda, etc, to Buddhism to the Church. Thanks be to God, I've been Catholic for 25 years now. Best thing that ever happened to me/that I ever did. Thank you, LORD!
Love this! Thanks for sharing!
This show was fantastic also it was fabulous, splendid, brilliant, wonderful, super, magnificent, superb 😄😉
Thank you. It was such a fun conversation!
This is great! I hope you can do a video series on Early Church and the following
1. Mary
2. Papacy
3. Purgatory
4. Infant baptism
5...........
There are a number of Protestants (eg Dr Gavin O and the Anglican pastor Barely Protestant) who claimed there are no evidence that the Early Church is Catholic in beliefs which is completely untrue. The series will serve to debunk this myth.
Thanks for these suggestions, Jeremiah!
I'm surprised an Anglican would say that.
Thank God for the video
Thank you for watching!
This is what Francis Chan discovered too ! The Early Church believed in the true presence !
