We go crabbing all the time when I was a kid....shrimping too....loved growing up around the ocean ! That was a fun day !!! I used to always hate coming off vacation too....we always taveled a lot .....trips when I was a kid......to NYC (did Washington, Philadelphia along the way) Houston & Dallas, to visit family in Georgia and Kentucky and the best one we did, to California and Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks
Shell island is sick 👍 great times going there when we were kids and getting out of Birmingham to somewhere nice when the weather is good there isnt really much in the uk that rivals it imo
@@DRvids630 mum and dad had great weather earlier in the summer they went midweek it was a lot quieter and drive from brum aint as bad hopefully they will make it a regular thing again going up shell

Yea. Been going all my 35 years of life - special place and yeah in the sun its fantastic, I'm going back in october for the fireworks
It was awesome on shell when The airbase was active with the flight training, we got woken up a couple night with the helicopters 🚁 coming in to land
