Cannot The problem of barber and consumer be solved by increasing time by 5 mins and. Checking if its multiple of 15 then assign next 3 to b1 b2 b3, if multiple of 10 then as next two to b1 b2 and else only assign next one to b1???
Am i going in wrong direction?
If I understood right, your solution is assuming same time for each barber to cut hair.
The way I approached the solution was to do binary search in range 0 - 10^9. For the mid value in the search, I will find out how many people we can accommodate in that mid time. I will find out the time till when I can accommodate n-1 people. For the nth customer, I will check which customer will come out next from all of the barbers and that will be the position where nth customer will go.
@@pawandeepsingh2155 my solution considered barbers cutting time to be 5 mins, 10, mins and 15 mins
In general time interval to check would be the minimum of all the barber cutting time.
But i think then the problem would be to check if the current time is multiple of cutting time of each barber. Because that will tell what all barbers are now free , for next consumers to be assigned.
But now let me try and understand your approach.
Understood your priority queue solution. Thanks
Make in English please
