My test: I forward parked on the left in mine (it was all empty) because the ones on the right had cars parked and I didn’t wanna have to be extra careful (I really was just not in the mood to do my test that day, I just wanted to get my test over with). I adjusted it only once. I also did reverse parking on the right (I was asked to park next to a car) and had to adjust once. Ideally you park the opposite I did, but it depends on the situation like mine. I also did my 3 point turn after turning into another street, and the second 3 point turn in front of an intersection. I still passed 😂 I think the important thing is to make sure you really look. Think about where hazards are coming from and look there. My assessor said I made poor choices but that I made good head checks. Thank you so much for these vids, much appreciated.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I am sure a lot of people will benefit from reading it. Congratulations on getting your licence and you are most welcome. Take care!
Reverse parking is easier , but leaving maybe more dangerous the moment you stick your car out. Reverse out is safer as you have brake and reverse lights for other motorists to see, and front leaving doesn’t unless it is in the evening.
After finishing parking I have to back off, when I change to gear(D)I have to look mirrors, look over shoulder and do I have to indicate right? Thank you ☺️
There will never be an identical scenario. Every time you do it, something will be different, distance, angle, width of the space etc. Do it a few hundred times and you'll be home and hosed
Thanks for this video! Could you please make a video on how to have better judgement when the traffic lights turn yellow, any video with tips would help
You are most welcome. Check this one out th-cam.com/video/Z-SY6W0YXJ4/w-d-xo.html I can shoot one showing the intersection and traffic with multiple examples
@@DrivingSchoolWA Hey, thanks for the quick reply, I have already viewed that video, it was really helpful aswell. I just needed some tips on judging amber lights. i.e. if I should go or stop when the light turns amber. cheers
No worries Aaron! I will do my best to get out this weekend, it's going to be a bit lower temperature. Is there any particular intersection you are finding difficult? I was going to shoot one in Mirrabooka (corner Yirrigan and Ravenswood)

I keep getting these videos suggested after I’ve passed my test already 🤣. This man is the hero we all needed but don’t deserve.
Thanks mate! You sure deserved every minute of the content 😂.
Cheers!

I always avoid left forward bay parking, very tight anngle especially before the parked car

Is there a detailed explanation about how to forward park perfectly, please

Are you allowed to adjust it if you don’t get it right the first time?
Yes you are. You might lose points for flow but no big deal if you correct it
Are we allowed to go fully onto the wrong side of the road to forward left bay park??
And how do we forward bay park between two cars on either side? Thanks for the informative video!
