- Repairing the 1:14 Rlaarlo after some recent carnage, and then 3s speed runs vs the Amoril 1:14
I’d recommend either of these cars, and their customer service is second to none.

Just ordered the amoril with 2 3s batteries and a fast charger for $200. Can't wait to get it and play around.
You may want to order a set of the heavy duty cv axles , they’re definitely their weak point. I do believe they’ve improved them quite a bit since I got these. Is yours the purple brushless version
They are both crazy fast for their size!!

I from Iowa too! Just getting into RC and bought the am-d12 it came with issues right out of the box sadly. I’m thinking about replacing the parts but being new to this hobby I fear taking it apart
Don’t be afraid. They’re simple. That’s exactly how I learned back in the day with my old Tamiya’s.. if I may ask, what Kim of issue does it have??
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers I’ll upload a short video showing the issue. Looks to me like the central drive shaft is bent or the slip clutch gear is warped maybe. Idk I’m new to this haha. Uploading now

What's the difference between Amoril and Rlaarlo? For the LiPo batteries, how do you know how to charge or discharge them for storage?
Same company, they’re sister companies.. I use my hobby grade charger which I highly recommend over the usb cable that they provide.. I use an ovonic x-1 charger currently and love it

Top end the Amoril wins, the Rlaarlo I think is a bit faster off the line. Both are crazy on 3s. Wasn’t sure how the Rlaarlo would do on 3s, but it actually stayed cooler than the Amoril. They both could use a fan on the esc when running 3s, but neither over heated at all. I’m impressed with them both 😁 happy Father’s Day my friend 😁

Great question. I used the glacier 1000 mah 3s from horizon hobby. I also have used a 1300 mah spektrum from horizon as well
does the amoril have a bigger motor or is it the same?
Thanks for subscribing, you’re number 250. The Amoril and the Rlaarlo have the same brushed 550 motors but the Amoril has a 3 wire servo, and a higher amperage esc, also it’s built a bit better in my opinion. Rlaarlo Croboll Amoril are all the same companies and have taken their customers feedback to improve with each snd every release. Thanks for watching my friend
What 3s battery are you running for your amoril buggy?
The Amoril is on a glacier 1300 mah 35c from horizon hobby the Rlaarlo is running an ovonic 1300 mah 40c from Amazon

@@JamesDavis-sm4rt you’re welcome. There’s a screw that sticks up in the chassis, underneath the battery. You should remove it and smooth it out so it doesn’t wear at the lipo.. btw the glacier battery is smaller and fits better than the longer ovonic
Weird, I'm very disappointed with the Amoril 3s brushed speed on 2s. It feels to me like it's low 20s whereas my WL toys 12019 (the purple one) feels fast on 2s. I don't have a small 3s motor but with how slow it is on 2s I can't imagine it would get the boxes claims of 40+ on 3s.
You may have a bad motor or esc issue.. ours hits 42 on 3s
