We have stayed in this Hotel 3 times, it is absolutely great, location is amazing, beach straight across the road, the lift up to the town is just round the corner, rooms have everything you need, fridge a big bonus, very good value for money, the pool is a little small for such a big hotel but hey the beach is literally a stone throw away..❤️

30 years ago, the Bajondillo had a package deal, in winter months, with Grand Circle Tours. One week in Cascais, Portugal, two weeks at Bajondillo. You could buy extra weeks for only $100/wk.! That is about $15/ nite. It included a free breakfast buffet that had EVERYTHING. Great jumping off spot for several famous cities, plus Malaga . a cheap train ride away, day trips to Gibraltar, Ronda, Morocco, etc. I used to go for 3 months. Beer, local, brandy, were about 50 cents, and the hotel had entertainment 6 nites a week. Those were the good old days, before the EU, which caused high inflation.

@@bobbygaribaldi9865 You probably did the Grand Circle Deal. Thing were really cheap. When they joined the EU, things got expensive. I figure I traveled for 15 months total, Mostly on my own, w/o tours. Too old to travel now ,98 yrs. old.But Google Earth, and You tube travelogues work just fine, to relive those days.Hope you got up to Old Malaga? I loved it, up there. Just a train ride away! Barcelona,Paris,Cairo, and Istanbul were great ,too.

I visited Torremolinos,I was very disappointed in it .it has to many long narrow streets full of small shops .you can't see much .its all pushed into one small place .it doesn't look like Spain or feel like Spain ..it has a nice centre square but you would see that in 5 mins ..if you want to visit the beech the problem is you have to walk down about 500 steep steps which is hard for elderly and a lot of young unfit also lol ..the steps are very old and dangerous and not safe to walk down .when you get to the beech it's a nice beech ,sadly it's the worst holiday destination and most boring I've ever visited

You need to stay at hotel on promenade
Or take elevator down but u still need to walk a bit
I prefer Caribbean ocean but you go to Spain for history and food
