Recently had my heads ported and polished stage 2 style. It took 3 weeks for the springs , valves, and rockers and all that to come in. This is my daily driver. It was a very very long 3 weeks to say the least.

Serious question, why are the parts delays the “new normal?” I believe you and it’s obvious all engine builders are fighting the same issue, but I don’t really understand why it’s happening?
