To those complaining about players going "one and done" understand this, these colleges don't care about them. If they did, you would see a ncaa basketball 2015 video game. Instead of them taking ncaa games off shelves because of athletes asking for a slice of the pie. Thats what it's all about, money! A player get a full atheltic scholarship, so what! Yearly, the head coach must choose (make the decision) whether to allow you to use that scholarship. Meaning if they feel you have not perfomed as expected or they found your replacement, they can take it away. Which does happen! Certain athletes have to pay attention at when to enter the Draft to better their chances of being selected. They also have to watch out for upcoming Top freshman and transfers. Quinn Cook had his Pg spot on lock at Duke, until #1 pg Tyrus out of highschool took his spot. It forced Cook to switch to the 2 and play off ball. Even though Cook did exceptionally well, he was limited in showcasing his talent(being a pg). Unable to improve his individual resume, which could possibly be the reason why he was not selected for the draft besides height. I ask you this who do you think gave Jones the offer, even though they had a jr Cook? It wasn't Quinn Cook for sure lol... Colleges look for your replacement before you bounce the ball for them. Why play for free and worry about being replaced or limit your chances of becoming professional?
