My dad and I went to this game. I'm so glad I was there for Irvin's biggest day as a pro! Unfortunately, it was only 1 of 2 games I attended in person that year.
This is Michael Irvin's big game. The Cardinals just were being the Cardinals (terrible) as usual. Dallas always seemed to crush the Cardinals in Dallas, but always struggled (except in 1995) in Arizona.
Another Game I Missed when Hurricane Iniki hit my Island I didn't have electricity until couple days before Thanksgiving glad someone could post this from a Loyal Cowboys fan Mahalo
Lol Chris chandler and Ricky proehl before they was famous. This Dallas team were one of the best teams ever. Also Larry centers and Anaeas willians were absolute bosses
Call of the game at 45:18 just before halftime while it's still just 14-7 Cowboys and 3rd and 8. Lead draw- run play for 16 yards right up the middle! Epic!
94 49ers were good but this dallas team won 3 super bowls in 4 years so no they were good but not the best the cowboys were definitely the dynasty of the nineties then secondly was the 97 98 broncos but I would say they were not far behind just in terms of championship success they were a little below par but they got that one in 94 in between the three that the cowboys won let's be honest this cowboys offense was damn near unstoppable most every game
@DivineBeing247 unstoppable? How? These Cowboys teams won because of their offensive line and depth. The most unstoppable teams offensively of the 90s were the 99 Rams, 98 Vikings and 91 Redskins. Their numbers blow these Cowboy numbers out the park.
@@elbowgang9715 And yet, the 99 Rams scored 11 and 23 points in their last two games, the 98 Vikings didn't make the Super Bowl, and the 91 Skins...lost to these younger Cowboys at home. This team was deliberate by design, but could beat you any way you wanted and had the best defense in the league to boot. Best team of the decade is correct. And didn't have to cheat the cap like the 94 49ers or 98 Broncos.
2:30:00 LOL at the post game press conference with all the reporters holding their mikes up to JJ. I wonder how long it took them to figure out you could just sit the coach down at a table, give him one mike and everyone hook up auxillary mikes to that input source?
At the time I don't think most stadiums had press rooms that were set up for the big postgame interview the way they are now. You had to do this in the tunnel or a hallway or something and there was nowhere to plug anything in.
The Cardinals always played the Cowboys tough. It was a good rivalry. Chris Chandler was a tough son of a gun to come back into the game after that brutal hit by Tolbert.
Joe Bugel was in way over his head as a head coach. Nice guy, just not up to the task. The Cardinals had Chris Chandler, they sign Beuerlein in the offseason to take over in '93, Bugel gets fired after the '93 season, Buddy Ryan takes over and tosses the great Beuerlein to the curb. Chris Chandler goes on to play in a Super Bowl. Typical Cardinals.
Dumbest decision by Cardinals coach at 39:31 to punt from the Cowboys 40 yard line on 4th and 7 when they just missed an easy first down on the previous play but he dropped the pass and even worse they went for it from their own 39 yard line! Makes no sense! Crazy 😄
Check out this hit Gannon takes at 1:12:15 right in front of the ref (looks like Bob McElwee?) and it doesn't seem as though McElwee will be dropping any yellow. Nothing to see here, please disperse. Crazy...
I WANT TO REMIND, OR INFORM ANYBODY WATCHING THIS GAME, JUST BECAUSE A PLAYER IS EXCELLENT AT RETURNING KICKS, DOES NOT MEAN HE IS WORTH A HOOT AT RETURNING PUNTS..TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS..WHY? BECAUSE KICK RETURNERS DON'T HAVE THE OTHER TEAM'S PLAYERS WANTING TO SEPARATE YOU FROM THE BALL AS SOON AS YOU CATCH IT, LOL..KICKOFFS ARE LOW-PRESSURE, PUNT RETURNERS ARE A DIFFERENT BREED APART..IT TAKES SKILL, FOCUS AND GUTS TO CATCH A PUNT, KNOWING YOU MAY GET LEVELED BY A 250-LB SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER WHO'S JOB IT IS TO DO JUST THAT..FIELDING PUNTS IN PRACTICE IS ONE THING;IN A GAME, IT CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE IN WINNING AND LOSING..AND IT'S DANGEROUS AS HELL..
Who's the other guy in the booth? Randy Cross and... ? *Edit- it's Dick Stockton. He made a "Girth of a Nation" joke about Ivory Lee Brown @ 2:07:00 Too funny 😂🤣
Just think a young Kurt Warner was at Northern Iowa. Should have just drafted him in like what 1994? Cardinals were so bad for so long when Jake Plummer took them to the playoffs in 1998. Oh screw the cowgirls.
It occurred to me..as an out of market Dallas fan, I didn't see the non-national games from that great year. This is my chance, 28 years later!
I love watching these games again from the early 90s. Those Cowboys teams were great and fun to watch. It's like going back in time.
Been a while hasn't it?

Spoken like a man whose team has NEVER given him such joy

The lesson in this game is DON'T WAKE UP MICHAEL IRVIN!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥

Only time we'll watch REAL COWBOYS PLAY
Lol Chris chandler and Ricky proehl before they was famous. This Dallas team were one of the best teams ever. Also Larry centers and Anaeas willians were absolute bosses
CHANDLER WAS A GOOD QB, JUST SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON A BETTER TEAM..
Pride and joy back in the day!!!!! GO COWBOYS.
Halftime report the Green Bay qb goes out Favre comes off the bench to snare a victory. The rest is history

Michael Irvin touchdowns
2:53 - 87 yards
27:00 - 41 yards
1:30:31 - 4 yards
Final stats,
8 receptions, 210 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Nice job Lonezo Lynch. 😂😂😂
Madden video game numbers
Erik Williams was a stud at right tackle ~
If it wasn't for the car accident, he would have been a hall of famer
Nice that they still do the same post game format with Brad Sham to this day
Boy Randy Cross hate Cowboys, was at this game so I didn't have to listen to this on TV thankfully.
23:32 It is mentioned at game 3 Emmitt is tied with Herschel Walker for the NFL rushing lead.
In these days of futility and mediocrity it's easy forget how good the Cowboys were in the 90's.
That hit on chandler was nasty 🤣😂🤣😂😣 he was knocked out cold 😂🤣😂😣 holy shit
Tim McDonald was such a great Strong Safety
Great game! And Proehl was a great receiver stuck on a bad team.
Where were you Lynch??? Not on Michael all day long haha
Shoulda put anenas williams on him
"Ok Arizona's in town" - Michael Irvin
2:53 - I was literally laughing when Michael Irvin went 87 yards for the TD. Lynch stood to have no chance in defending Irvin.
This was such a well-known incident that even Emmitt talks about it in his book
This Cowboy team is the greatest of the 90s.
Edit: Jim Wahler was low key in on every play!
1994 49ers

Good ole dayz when Cardinals was in the Division NFC EAST all 5 teams was competitive and 3 of the teams won Super Bowls in the early 90's
The Cardinals always played the Cowboys tough. It was a good rivalry. Chris Chandler was a tough son of a gun to come back into the game after that brutal hit by Tolbert.
Arizona, where top 5 draft picks go and are never heard from again.
1992 was a magical year!
Got 20 bucks on the Cards to cover. Wish me luck.
On paper, that Cardinal defense was good.
Yes but it's on the field where it matters the most
Michael Irvin had a real squeeky voice back then!
I've noticed that some (but not all) guys have voices that don't have any depth until they are like 45 years old.
1:25:35 One of my favorite hits ever
Lorenzo lynch ran his mouth before this game and got burned so much they benched his ass!

Michael Irvin 💪

Buddy Ryan was always in over his head although he did a fantastic job with the Bears!
Chandler lead atlanta a super bowl years later
LOL..Randy cross sounds like Tom selleck from "Magnum, P.I"..
Irvin found some high grade yayo before the game, obviously 😃

No team drafts a player that doesn’t project as a good pro. Warner didn’t when he came out. He proved folks wrong though.
This is a great reminder of how long the Cowboys have been absolute trash.
Yet, the have the highest winning percentage overall of any NFL Team....
