Anyone noticed that Ryoma was completely right about how the murder went down. What if tsimugi was found out. How awkward would that be.
Ryouma and Angie (and Miu at some extent) were right all along. It was just the clues to direct Tsumugi as the culprit, and the true nature of their killing game, didn't appear until the last chapter.

Maybe the next motives where to get these people out. They pretty much guess the masterminds plans.
And yet, Shuichi was still tricked into thinking Kaede is the culprit. Somehow...
He was right, but at the time, they never had enough evidence to defend Kaede.
And they didn't believe Angie, Ryoma, and Miu. Even Korekiyo for insane reasons. All becuase the hidden room was hidden until K1-B0 starts to battle against the Exisals, hell-bent on demolishing the academy without his ahonge (antenna) That's why it hurts to watch the first trial! And the climax of the sixth one! And Tsumugi downgrading us into a complete sobbing and crying despair before K1-B0 says to "remedy the situation".
Can't there EVER be a Rebuttal mode where you agree with what your opponent is saying, instead of cutting through their words? If something like this were to happen, it would be a surprising turn of events.
I wonder what was Tsumugi's reaction to Ryoma in the first rebuttal showdown lol...

Ryoma was actually correct when he was in the Rebuttal with Kaede, the mastermind actually did that but went back in the hidden room and back to the girl's bathroom. (You might know who that was.)

Sadly the first chapter does not have evidence that proves Ryoma is right.
Neither Shuichi nor Kaede were careful enough and even Monokuma was fooled by the mastermind. That is why one could believe Ryoma's testimony was not correct while it actually was...
Jack NightYT monokuma was aware of the mastermind’s plan, that it was key Evidence to reveal that the killing game was rigged.
Fun fact about Rebuttal Showdown
- Kokichi and Angie are the only one who died that never had any R.S. , despite lasting so long
- Maki is the only one who had a R.S. with Shuichi 2 times and is not the culprit. She's also the only one who survived doing it
- the Monokubs are the first to have R.S. in a group /more than one
- Rantaro is the only one who haven't done any R.S. for understandable reason
- This also makes Himiko the only surviver who haven't do any R.S.
- Kiyo is the only culprit who done 2 R.S.
- Shuichi is the first ever protagonist to ever go against in R.S.

- Technically, Kokichi DID had a r.s. well.. sorta. It was only his animation. They didnt had a full r.s. because his point was already right (credit to Beta Nagito in the reply!)
- Being the first one, Ryoma was the only one who's rebuttal point was actually right all along

Someone like Ryoma who's so openly to die early....can be so intelligent. After all. He was convicted for killing a mafia after they took his comrades' lives. The court and government treated him so unsympathetically, to the point of sentencing him to death, before he ended up with the other 15 students.

He drowned in the sink before being stuffed into the tank.
The part where the killer acted like they just rushed over was exactly what happened. The front entrance photos were used to have us make the wrong assumption.
All that needed to happen was for them to connect the alibis of the 2 groups (with the dining room group having tsumugi leave for the bathroom for a suspiciously long amount of time) and then take into consideration with the fact the killer could’ve used the door that was closing in the photo.
They still got a ways to go...

Literally the only good thing the Monokubs ever did, all game, was let Shuichi read them the riot act after he's gotten fed up with these mascot antics and reminds them of the stakes.
I didn't mind them so much, but that was a pretty good moment.

Angie said that atua said the killer was behind a hidden door.
Tsumugi didn't mention going to the bathroom here, however korekiyo brought up a point saying that tsumugi had went to the bathroom and was gone for a long time.
The music for Shuichi's rebuttal showdown seems like it would fit for a sad ending...

Ryoma's hypothesis (in his rebuttal) was actually correct. The REAL mastermind was lying in wait, then manoeuvred over to the girl's washroom, witnessed Kaede fail to throw the shot put, and headed forth into the library to kill Rantaro.

We actually control( or rather, we are) Shuichi. The audience is shown as people who don't care about the characters. The only thing they cared about was hope and despair.
Fun Fact: The first character to engage in Rebuttal Showdown in Chapter 1 seems to always be the victim in Chapter 2. Mahiru was the first in DR2 to engage in Rebuttal Showdown and Ryoma in this game.

Ryoma: Not if they went back into hiding. Right after killing Rantaro. Then once everyone's gathered round the body, all they gotta do is act like they just ran in, *rejoin everyone* and we'd be none the wiser.
