Hello, I love your video and you shared your time with us all here. I was able to go stay at that hotel for a couple of nights last year, and I will never ever forget it. I hope to go back again one day. We also went to Ravello, so I look forward to that video next! Please share again if you ever get to go back again. A true fan of all things Italy. Thanks again, Paula
Hi Dana, I just had to subscribe to your chanel just now. I love the way you vlog you show us a little bit of everything. It is gorgeous and your dress is very beautiful.
Thank you for this beautiful video! We are trying to go to Il Tridente and I keep checking the website to book as they say cannot reserve any earlier than 14 days before the visit. It appears full every time I check! Hoping somehow we can get in!
Great video, and the dress is beautiful too. Looks like a great time. Do you ever buy food from a market or only eat out? I think Italy has amazing produce.
Hi Carol, thank you yes the dress is amazing and was made by @luisapositano a local boutique in Positano. Yes, actually we've been 2 others times in Positano and we always visit Latteria which is a local supermarket etc and we buy some great produce and snacks there.
I will definitely go to the bar and restaurant when I’m in Positano next May. What is the name of your favorite drink you were drinking and what is in it? Love your Italy videos
How did you like your room? My fiancé & I are going there for our honeymoon & we booked a junior deluxe suite as well. What do you recommend doing while you’re there? Any private boat rides you recommend? We also booked a car to pick us up from the airport…& they suggest taking us on a tour on the way to the hotel. Have you done this before?
I enjoyed it! It had a lovely outdoor space with a view of the sea and town. You can enjoy breakfast there or sunbathe as well. I recommend Blue Star Positano Elizabeth the owner is a dear friend of mine, let her know that I sent you. The boat tours with Blue Star Positano I have been on are: Amalfi Coast Tour, Capri Tour and Sunset tour in the past few years that I have been there. They book very quickly and they also offer group tours (more budget friendly) In terms of things to do, I encourage you to watch all my Amalfi Coast videos and blog posts on danaberez.com I have not been on a tour coming from the airport since I prefer to just arrive as soon as possible and do day trips for tours once I am settled.
Those are the most gorgeous dresses ever! It is a little sad to watch this now and see you having to wear masks. It seems like a lifetime ago - thank God! Always appreciate and love your educational and fun travel videos!!
Have an amazing time! Not sure it changes based on the season I guess… Every time I’ve been it was reservations and open to the public. But recently it was for hotel guests only. So I would just call or email in advance.
Hi there! I love you’re videos. Can you break down how to actually get to your hotel once you arrived in Positano? Did you have to lug all your luggage up all those stairs? Can you access the hotel by car?
Hi Gladwin, this depends on where you are staying in Positano and method of transportation. If you are arriving by car you will be on the main road at the top of the town and you will have to lug your luggage down to your accommodation (easier than going up) or hire a porter person. The other way is arriving by ferry. If you are staying in the lower part of town, it is a little easier to get to from the ferry port than from above the town on the main road where cars, SITA buses, shuttles and private transfer arrive from. Most hotels are not accessible by car and the stairs are almost entirely unavoidable.
@@DanaBerez Hi there! Thank you so much for responding. Regarding hiring a porter person, is that directly from the hotel or our their porters at the ferry port and/or main road ready willing, and able to assist lol. I don't mind stairs, great workout.
Venus is in Fornillo. Which is up higher so more steps/distance. So if you are looking for less steps, to be closer to the town and have the budget then Poseidon is a great option.
Hi there, we did not end up getting a SIM card but you can get a SIM card at the airport if you are flying into Rome Fiumicino there is a TIM booth (the best provider in terms of coverage for Amalfi Coast area) and the tourist SIM card for an unlocked device is 35 euro 200 minutes 15 GB (4G) and unlimited chat.
I really don't understand why you and the hotel don't tell how much is going on a room for Sisson and no Sisson. They only mention discounts well u loose because like my are a lot of people how what information completely also the hotel places hot to get special in this time.

Such an awesome hotel! I think if I stayed there I wouldn't leave. Oh that Negroni looked delicious. My favorite!
I am sooo jealous you are in Positano - one of my favorite spots in Italy. Enjoy!!! Now I'm craving an aperol spritz...
Yes, it is truly a special place felt so lucky to have been able to visit again.
Nie kamer, nie hotel w domu łóżko i telewizor to są marzenia 😍
I went for lunch here last September, love this hotel!! Can’t wait to go back 😊

I stayed at this hotel in 2008! It was a dream! The views from my room and the restaurant are stunning! Hoping to get back there someday.

I’ve been wanting to visit Positano for over a decade. And now this hotel is on my list!
It's a truly magical place, it almost doesn't feel real. This hotel is fabulous I love that the family still works there and its super romantic.
Your dress is beautiful! I just discovered your channel and I'm loving your videos.

We love to go next year in June for our 30th year wed anniversary
I will definitely go to the bar and restaurant when I’m in Positano next May. What is the name of your favorite drink you were drinking and what is in it? Love your Italy videos
Hi Lindy, yes we always get Negroni and it is made with Gin, Campari, Sweet Vermouth it is a classic apertivo drink in Italy.
@@DanaBerez I will definitely try one! Thank you for responding 💗
it looks so wonderful!
Thank you! Yes, it is stunning.
Thank you very for sharing we will be there soon, what amazing ,stunning view
That is a beautiful hotel!

Hi! Have you been to Amalfi Coast in March or know how it’s like and if it’s still worth it to go in March? Thank you!
Just read One Italian Summer which takes place at this hotel!
This is true!

is the pool heated? going in April when the weather won't be so warm.
Stunning! I am planning to go in a couple weeks. :) Do you know if reservations are required to go to the cocktail bar?
Have an amazing time! Not sure it changes based on the season I guess…

@@DanaBerez Oh got it, okay. I will double-check with them. Thank you!
I did email them and they said you need reservations for both the cocktail bar and the restaurant.

Thanks, will do!
VERY NICE❤🎉
Thanks 🤗
Can you tell me which one is a better option as far as location Poseidon or Venus B&B Inn?
Venus is in Fornillo. Which is up higher so more steps/distance. So if you are looking for less steps, to be closer to the town and have the budget then Poseidon is a great option.
HI Dana, The restaurant didn't seem very busy. What month did you go on the trip?
Hi Anna, this was filmed a few years ago during a time when travel was more restricted to Italy.
Did you stay in the one they call “The funny room”?
Somehow I missed a video...watched 3 again but who is the fellow with you?
Beautiful!! Which room is this?!
1. Where did you get a Covid test done while in Italy to show on your way back for the return to US? 2. Also did you also fly back through Rome?
I got the test done in Rome Fiumucino airport for 20$ per person. And yes I flew to back to NYC JFK airport from Rome Fiumucino airport
@@DanaBerez thank you for your response. How did you book it and was it PCR or rapid test? Thanks so much Dana
So beautiful! What is the cost for a night?
Check the description and the link. Thank you so much.
May you please tell me how much was the SIM card for your phone?
What is the name of the store that you bought it?
Thanks so much for your help and thanks for your excellent description of your beautiful vacation!
Enjoy and please stay safe ✌🏻🇨🇦

Красиво очень 😍
I want to go to Italy very much
Yes, it's a beautiful country. Where in Italy would you like to go?
So how much is it?
there is a link in the description of the video and it depends on the type of room you want.
