that is japanese culture, if you mingle with them, there exists deeper little groups in the society. what you are seeing in this video is their their culture where they are supposed to be kind and respectful to anyone.
If I got caught filming in my school I would get my phone/camera taken from me and sent to the office, my parents would be called to pick up my phone, I would be sent to isolation for the whole week and possibly excluded.

I can assure that they also have times when they’re extra tired and not energetic like this. It’s like any high school student, there’s a lot of shit to study and deal with. This is a video where the good moments are being recorded, and you probably have lots moments like that with your friends too! I wish I could go to a Japanese school too though, I would love the experience. I’m in the last year of high school and there’s no time left for me to go on an exchange program so this ship definitely has sailed for me. Even though things not happened as I expected and wanted, there’s still lots of good things you can look back and be grateful for.

I’m in the last year of high school and there’s no time left for me to go on an exchange program so this ship definitely has sailed for me.
