Well, I think I must have been at home, watching the Country Music Award shows, and saw her come by..remember thinking she was very good but not my style of music. It was only in 2007 when she dropped the first album with Robert Plant and I decided that year to check out all the Grammy nominees that I fell in love with that voice. Now along with Raising Sand, Two Highways is one of my all time favorite albums..by any artist
@@reddragonready I understand where you're coming from. Alison is originally Bluegrass. I am somewhat of a Bluegrass Fan..... depending on just how "Twangy" some Bluegrass vocalists are. I pretty much love almost all Bluegrass Pickers. They're so smooth and lightning fast. But getting back to Alison....her voice is "SO" unique and one-of-a-kind. And she's not just limited to the Bluegrass Genre where she started from. She's crossed over MANY genres since she started from a YOUNG girl. Hence....why I believe she has won SO MANY Grammys.

"Teardrops Will Kiss The Morning Dew".......I HAD NEVER IN MY LIFE HEARD SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VOICE....."EVER IN MY LIFE!!" .......TEARDROPS WERE "FLOODING" OUT OF MY EYES "FASTER" THAN I COULD WIPE THEM AWAY!! MY DRIVING BECAME DANGEROUS!! "THANK GOD" NOBODY WAS WITH ME AND NOBODY ELSE WAS ON THE HIGHWAY!! "DANGEROUS SCENARIO" FOR SURE!! On a HAPPIER Note....I was Alison Krauss's newest BIGGEST Fan. That song was on her "Two Highways" album at the time..... which I ordered "THAT VERY NEXT DAY"!!! I'VE BEEN HER FAN EVER SINCE....SHE WASN'T NO MORE THAN A KID THEN!!! ❤❤❤
How amazing it is to hear this beautiful song again! 😍 Last time I heard it I was having a cup of coffee in the morning at the backyard deck watching drops and mist of cool rain falling into the leaves, grass and pond like tear drops, while listening to this beautiful country song in Georgia.
