very interesting how the Tokaido shinkansen has many areas without track walls, just elevated train but no wall barrier in some areas. This makes the Tokaido Shinkansen easier to watch the trains go by as well as see out the window of the train.
Thank you for your comment. Too many Shinkansen has track walls because of winds and noise but Some sections of the Tokaido Shinkansen do not has walls. So in this area we can see entire Shinkansen. And we can see sagami rever from Shinkansen. If you have a time,please visit this area.
@jintetsu531 the Tokaido Shinkansen is older and was built when trains were slower, however in some areas even with speeds of 275kph there is no need to add tracks walls. If not near a town or a place prone to High winds the trains are safe to pass through. San-yo Shinkansen also has a few areas without tracks walls, I wish other shinkansens lines were easier to see without being at a station. Tokaido Shinkansen is the best for viewing.
