It is always a joy to see that people love their job especially this roofer guy laying the ridge tiles. He probably did it a thousand times and still paying attention to detail although nobody will notice

The care taken on the ridge tiles! A pleasure to watch. Home stretch is always a dangerous time for me - don’t rush your fences is hard to remember as the finish line gets closer.

Wish I had such great tradesmen on my extension that was completed last year. 12 week schedule only took 9 months! Had to redo every piece of second fix woodwork myself such was the bodging, all their plumbing leaked, not a straight wall in the place. 120k for a 4 meter extension!
Those roofers are incredible with the cowboys my builder employed every bit of mortar on the roof caps, hips and valleys has cracked from arseholes to breakfast time and is falling out, I ended up going around with tubes of clear silicone trying to seal it.
Finished up kicking them off site in the end when they tried to change my VAT for a porch that was quoted for in writing including VAT.
Get well soon James you have many admirers of the quality of your work 👍

Yeah on second look it is black dye sorry. I bet that roofer has got some stories would love to see more of him. Must be bedding those ridges by eye to match in with the existing wayneyness of the reclaimed tiles for effect from ground level.. If not roger needs to buy him a string and level.
