This is so neat. It reminded me of something close to home. In the Westport area of Baltimore there was a small glass bottle manufacturing plant, and nestled in between the buildings were spotted small covered hoppers with sand or whatever was used to make glass. Thanks for sharing this and bringing back that memory.
Almost my birth year (lol) -- I grew up when Conrail was huge and used to watch them switch the yard at Elsemere (Claymont, DE) which was over an hour from my house. The conductor even invited me to join them on switch jobs a few times because I was there as a 14yo kid with my Pentax camera all the time. Still have all the photos and negatives... good times
Beautiful! Love your work. What happened to 59th and Rust? Did you sell it? It was one of my inspirations as I was starting my layout when it appeared in MR.
Great session and great detail work.
Beautiful video.
That is fantastic modeling.
No one gets it, sure it’s about the trains, but the heart goes in to the scenery. And this is top-notch!
Flat Out Amazing!!!

@Ray o'neill how did you do your main road and the road in the crossing?
i used the same 2mm card that i did all the buildings with, between the track is plasticard, all painted with craft acrylic painted, then weathered.
