Hectareis is equivalent of 2.471 acres. They are on 24 Hectareis or 59.304 for the non metric people out there.

Right now I'm using the same factor to convert the hectares of land that I'm purchasing in Sweden to acres so that I can better relate until my mind makes the final shift from the English system to metric. The number that you shared is quite accurate.
@@EnGammalAmazon I grew up in America but my parents and grandparents were from Italy and using the metric system to me is easier. the Imperial system has its place but again metric is easier once you get to know it.

Hej, hej, Simeon! I thought I'd say, "Hallå." It is good to see that the family is getting settled in to Austria with kittens, critters, hens, plans and 'toys.' I am getting closer to having my property purchased in Bergsjö even though the process has moved ever so glacially. I am glad that my finances have aligned to make it all possible. Now all I have to do is be able to get into Sweden to finalize the sale. One thing I have been wondering is the future of the channel's name. Will you continue to be known as Swedish Homestead or are you going to change it to Austrian Homestead now. Take care und geht mit Gott!
