You might notice only a few public trash cans on the streets in Korea. Because of this, it's a good idea to carry small plastic bags to hold your trash until find a public area with a trash can, such as subway station or a public restroom and ...... If you can't find one, it's common to take your trash home and dispose of it in your own trash can. Koreans take recycling seriously.
I understand that this can be a challenge for visitors from abroad. From my personal experience, I've had to dispose of my trash at a highway rest area, not in the trash can. Additionally, it's frustrating to have to separate food, plastic, paper, glass, bottles, and aluminum products. It can be overwhelming and stressful. @@JayandKarolina
In Korea, getting messy around trash cans is considered to damage the view of the city. People take their garbage to their homes. Korean people have become a habit and no one complains about it. Some people throw their trash on the street, but most people don't.
the weather in autumn in Korea is nice, so it's great for observing from the observatory garbage will be disposed of at a nearby convenience facility there are trash cans (toilets and information centers) nearby and in Busan, raw fish is famous but raw fish may not suit your taste.
As a Korean, I think the reason why it 's hard to find trash bins in here is because we have very strict laws about recycling. And as you know, usually trash bins in public is hard to control. People do not recycle properly. So that is what I guess. Most people in here get used to keep the trash in the pocket or bags and bring it to home.
Cool content on Korea. I live here so it is nice to see travelers' perspective. Been watch your Korea videos after I finished Poland and really like how varied it is. You guys visited many cities and eateries! You liking banana milk so much makes me smile 😊
Awesome! Thank you! It makes us feel so happy that a local sees it :) Oh, that Banana Milk... HEAVEN! We're coming back to South Korea this autumn and cannot wait to explore more of local areas and try different dishes 😍🇰🇷
I am pleased to see you guys having enjoyed Seoul and Busan both cities. While I have been raised and lived in Seoul, Busan is my parents’ hometown and my birthplace. I am enjoying watching your videos and thanks for the videos. Among the other places in South Korea, I want to recommend you to visit ‘Sokcho’ or ‘Jeju-island’ or ‘Gyeongju’. 1) Sokcho is famous for its mountain called ‘Seorak mountain’, and it is also famous for north korean-origin cuisines since lots of north korean defectors during the Korean war came to live there. 2) Jeju island is literally a big volcanic island, which used to be a different country 1000 years ago, you can enjoy many distinctive nature(Oreum hills and beaches and Halla mountain) and foods that you can hardly find in mainland Korea. 3) Gyeongju is an ancient historic city located nearby Busan, I recommend you to enjoy nightview of Anapji pond and Woljeonggyo bridge. There is also a big touristic market street called ‘Hwangridangil’ which is surrounded by large ancient tombs, you can enjoy eating foods or drinking coffees while watching the ancient tombs in the second floor of each buildings. Bulguksa temple, Seokgulam temple, and Cheomsongdae ancient observatory are also famous places to visit in the city.
Oh thank you! We’re trying our best but Korean pronounciation is so damn difficult 😂 We’re coming back to SK this autumn and are already looking forward to filming more of a local content this time! Thank you so much for watching and if you have any suggestions, please let us know ❤️
Windy is good, you don't have to fight the mosquitoes all the time like some beaches. Thanks for sharing this video, feels like I'm traveling with you guys!
Great content! Next time you can try the Busan pass where you pay for 24/48 hours and have access to a whole lot of Busan attractions. Enjoy you travels!!
Haven’t heard much about Busan before, but the city seems to be very friendly for tourists 🤩 However, I must admit, I prefer places with sea access, they are just more relaxing, don’t you think? 🌴 Looking forward to seeing more content from you ❤
if you come back to seoul try to go banpo hangang especially at night it's beautiful and lotte tower in seoul there are many good places to visit...enjoy beautiful city of busan
I hope you have a wonderful trip. It would have been great if you had taken a ride on the Sky Capsule during sunset. If you have the opportunity, I recommend a trip to Gangwon Province next time. Sokcho and Gangneung are also fantastic destinations :)
I appreciate you giving me vicarious satisfaction haha. According to recent reports, the government plans to install more trash cans nationwide, in response to continued public complaints.
The reason why it’s so hard to find a trash bin is because “it's a direct result of a well-thought-out policy dating back to 1994 known as the Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) system. Essentially a pollution tax, PAYT necessitates that Seoul inhabitants purchase designated government-issued bags for their trash disposal”
I thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos from the time you arrived in Korea to your journey to Busan. I'm glad to see that you're also enjoying Korea, and I feel grateful for that. I'm not sure if you're still in Busan, but if you are, I'd like to recommend some other beautiful places. First, in the northern part of Haeundae, there's Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. In the southern part, there's Taejongdae on Yeongdo Island, and also Igidae. Busan is known for its many mountains, and Geumjeongsan Mountain with Beomeosa Temple, which has a history of nearly 1500 years, is the tallest and most beautiful mountain in Busan. There's also a famous traditional liquor called Sanseong Makgeolli, so I hope you get a chance to try it! I wish you enjoyable and safe travels in Korea in the future.
Welcome to Busan. I enjoy your video.😊 Ketchup mustard combination sauce is Korean hotdog and hotbar(long fish cake). Sotteoksotteok's sauce is Korean sweet chilly. Maybe she doesn't know not Korean about it.😅 Thanks.😊
It's Gwangalli beach, not Gwangjalli beach! It seems like the Gwangjang market left a deep impression on you, hahaha. I don't blame you at all! And yes, Busan people are known to be much more relaxed than Seoulites. I think that's what being the second city (not first) does to you. Many people and I also got the same impression in Osaka (compared to Tokyo), Shanghai (compared to Beijing), San Francisco (compared to New York City), etc... As for the UK, I've only been to London, so I can't compare lol.
I think India and South Korea should form an alliance or become one country, we are so similar and I hope to protect Korea's freedom and democracy forever

Seoul and Busan are famous, but Gangwon-do is the most beautiful in Korea. It's an area. You can see beautiful scenery wherever you go.
Jeju is better for nature
You should take the KTX to Donghae, or ride the Santa Village train to Gangneung because they have beautiful sceneries.
Very personal opinion tho.
