In iGo To Japan, the chip is first addressed because that’s how Mrs Benson finds Freddie after they were stranded by their kidnappers. Mrs Benson said the chip was installed by a shady doctor in Venezuela. That’s also why occasionally Freddie has random moments where he speaks Spanish without actually knowing the language.

I’m pretty sure the reason they had Gibby go up the fireplace is because he was underage, limiting the number of hours he could legally be on set. Everyone else was over 18 so they didn’t have this restriction.
You can see this a few times in the series, like “iParty with Victorious” where all the characters get made to look like someone else (which would require a ton of time doing makeup) and Gibby gets a mustache saving time and allowing him more time to film his scenes
Another take: it was never Nora’s birthday. She just waited for her parents to go out of town to spring her trap.
Her parents are psychopaths too.
Carly mentions her room burning down in the revival as an instance of her birthday curse but girl you got a bomb ass room out of it! It turned out amazingly for you!

That episode of iCarly is where I learned what a sweatshop was. My parents did not expect me to learn that word at as young of an age as I did.
Well Spencer does have a ability to set anything on fire so they probably threw out thier smoke detector to save them a Hassel of turning it off and a "false" alarm to the fire department
