Thanks so much for watching! Have you been keeping up with the revival of iCarly? What are your thoughts on season 3 or in general, the revival as a whole? Let me know!
I'm glad people are enjoying the show, I tried to get into it, but it's just not for me. The problem I have with it is that, from what I've seen, Carly is still acting juvenile. How she handles situations is very childish. The way she responds to certain problems, is how she would've responded in the OG show. Idk, it's just not for me. The way I see it she never grew up. I would like to hear your thoughts. Did I give up to quickly? I'd like to know.
You're welcome. Um 😅 I really didn't like it from the first episode. I feel like the fun was sucked out, because it feels too grown up to me. To me, it's not fun. That's just the way I feel. But I am glad that there's an audience for it.
My favorite part was the season finale where Harper shouted, "You have a mom?". 😂 Totally can relate to her since Carly's mom was non-existent in the whole icarly series.
You know, I'm always amazed how Miranda Cosgrove gets more gorgeous with age, and Jerry Trainor should be a much, MUCH bigger name for physical comedy.
Nathan Kress is a stand out actor especially in the emotional moments. I love all the cast and they do a good job but his acting goes far beyond the level everyone else is on and I really hope he gets bigger roles in the future
He is absolutely amazing. The emotion he puts into it is breathtaking and makes me emotional just to watch, and the adlib Miranda and him did in that kissing scene was absolutely adorable. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve been doing more. Season 2 episode one, the way he looked at Carly but ended up with Pearl at the end. The way he acts in season 3 in their relationship. You can just see from the writing and his acting that Freddie shut off those feelings, but that in the end, he always loved her. Oh dear, I’m getting emotional again. That’s what I get for drinking and going on TH-cam binges loooooool. Gotta go consume and make more Creddie content to get it out of my damn system.
This season definitely felt like it found its footing. The main things I hope we get with Season 4 (hoping it gets renewed with everything going on with the strikes): the full story of Carly and Spencer's mom and Freddie's dad, Harper getting to have an A plot episode to have her friendship reciprocated, a more serious episode plot showing the maturity of Carly and Freddie's relationship (something like moving in together, acknowledging a physical relationship/perhaps a dialogue about starting a family in whatever direction it goes), different cyber story ideas (leaks, parasocial relationships, maybe something even more serious like swatting), a coming of age moment for Millicent, and hopefully getting to an engagement with Carly and Freddie. I have faith that they can pick up the ball where they left it in this finale and really make Season 4 the best one yet.
I’m pretty sure they discussed parasocial relationships in the original multiple times. They did it with Mandy (stan culture), Nora and they had the convention episode which talked about shipping culture. I agree though I’d like to see something like that in this series though.
Really respect that they had weird silly episodes too. I hate it when shows revivals try to make it too convoluted or too strict, seeing one just allowing their characters to be themselves, have their absurdist humor and to have fun with the plot is great - and should be the rule lol

The plot line of Carly being upset that people will find out her personal information makes me sad when I think about what Miranda has been through with insane stalkers
I think it’s really incredible they gave such a compelling explanation as to why Carly and Spencer have had such troubled love lives. Of course they’d be scared of commitment when their own mother abandoned all of them. And its no wonder they refused to talk about her for so long! Honestly genius.
This season felt more attach to reality than the prior two seasons trying to fiind their footing with the times. Good character growth and explored more of the vulnerable sides of them.
It surprised me how much I enjoyed Carly and Freddie finally getting together. I wasn't sure that a revival all these years after the original show would do the relationship justice, but somehow they made it work by exploring it in a very mature and meaningful way, while being respectful to the source material.
For me it's done so well because it is not Freddie or Carly pining for each other for years. They had disent, Freddie moved on and got married even and Carly went on with her own life. It is them living their lives as friends, Maturing as people and those Mature versions of themselves falling for the Mature self of the other while also addressing the unhealthy portions of their previous as Carly puts it "Complicated Romantic history" that makes it so good to me.
There was a couple “just decent” episodes in iCarly Season 3 but the last 2 episodes are “Great” and the rest are Good to Great. Overall it’s a fun weekly show.
It was such a fantastic season with a surprising amount of heart. The way they have developed Carly & Freddie’s relationship has been so satisfying, and honestly beautifully done. I truly hope that it gets another season, particularly after that cliffhanger!

Seriously everything I could’ve hoped and more. And with Nathan and Miranda, especially, you can see them putting it all into these love scenes. They’ve both mentioned how meaningful Creddie is, and that shows in their acting.
Season 3 is definitely the best season of the revival. Ironically, as silly and childish Spencer, Carly, and Freddie can be, the best episodes of this season are when the three of them touch into serious and mature topics.
I really love icarly 2023 cause the writers & producers actively listen to reviewers, critics, and the fanbase then make good thoughtful descisions in the following season. Its so surreal
Seeing you talk about the Icarly revival again has me very happy! Your origional Icarly reboot video was actually the video that got me hooked on this channel to begin with! I was interested in the reboot but didn't actually want to watch it myself, so when you mentioned back then that you would be covering the new episodes every week thats what made me subscribe to this channel in the first place! And while the reboot came and went fast, you kept making really good and interesting videos so I just kinda stuck around and have watched literally everything you've put out sense then! I loved this season so much. As a diehard OG Creddie fan, I screamed and cried when they became a couple!!! I love that this reboot is targeted toward the OG iCarly fans who grew up watching it in their teens and now gets to see the characters in a more adult way just like the fans have grown up and become adults.
I just finished watching the last four episodes last night. I’m really liking it so far. I like that they actually gave Mrs. Benson some character and not just the overprotective mother that she was in the original show. I also liked how slowly they built up the relationship between Carly and Freddie. One thing that I didn’t expect was the cliffhanger in the last episode. I thought Carly and Spencer were just going to talk about their mom. I didn’t expect her to show up even though it was off screen. Overall, I think the reboot is developing nicely and I’m looking forward to the next season.

These recap reviews are literally my main/only way of experiencing the show 😂😅. Always enjoy them, and ya seems like the show's getting better. I do like the parallelism with Carly at one point being a kid and almost forced to stop living with Spencer, and now helping Millicent through a similar ordeal. And of course the mom being teased to finally be revealed is wild 😳. Seems like final season stakes; I'll actually be excited.... if I remember the show exists before Jordan reminds me 😅. Also love the Jayniac Jr. tradition 🤭. Keep it up man! 👏🏿
The guys somehow getting from Seattle all the way across the country to freaking Ohio in only a short time is so funny to me. I didn't notice that watching the episode. That is literally just not possible. Not the way those drinks were affecting them. I literally live in Washington. I know how freaking far away we are from Ohio, man. 😂
I really, really appreciate that they didn't break them up for sitcom drama. That kind of thing always just bummed me out and wasn't ever enjoyable. I get tired of the will-they/won't-they and just want fun stories that feature them as a couple.
When they said "oh my god at the end" I truly thought it was gonna be Sam; even though I legit said to myself "impossible" my heart just wanted it so bad that I cried when it was just her mom 😂
I truly Enjoy Season 3, is a Great way to have Fun, balance the Mature Tone with the Over the Top Atmosphere, the Characters are Great, and is Hilarious as Hell,I’m Looking Forward for Season 4.
thank you so much for covering this reboot! i don't have the energy to watch it myself (i'm pretty notoriously bad at watching anything not youtube in my friend group) but i've really enjoyed your coverage of it (as well as your other content ofc). i hope they get a season 5 i get to hear about via you!
Season 3 is the only season that I genuinely liked, all the others felt like forced social commentary (fan fiction)to me, this season took us back to the original series with the HEART that the first two seasons of the revival were lacking.
This season was really one of the best including the OG! The biggest reason is of course that creddie finally got together and how healthy their love is. With almost 2 decades of friendship turning into love I guess that's normal and that they can talk with each other about anything without dragging it out and creating misunderstandings for too long. I really enjoyed season 3 because normally I would wait and binge the whole season but since I heard that creddie was finally getting official I had to see their relationship evolve with each episode. I just wish that the season had more episodes or the episodes were longer because I heard that writers had to cut a lot of stuff and are maybe releasing an extended version of 3x10 if the demand is high enough.
this is why they shouldn't cancel things too early! think of it's always sunny etc, it's normal for shows to need to take some time to find their footing
Season 3 is probably the best season yet. They relied a lot less on nostalgia and just focused on new storylines and not just oh hey look who we got from the og cast guest staring on this episode (probably because everyone who’s said yes to returning has already returned the last two seasons) and I’m glad credie is finally happening! I was so scared they were just gonna tease it then just brush it off the first episode back
The way the show was like "yeah, Freddie and Carly are... ~physical~" by Freddie not immediately being like Carly can't be pregnant👀 I love the mix of subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways the show handles aging the characters up^.^
Yeah, those two are going at it. It's somewhat subtle but for I guess Spencer knows too because he connected the dots between the books and carly quickly
The new iCarly actually seems kinda awesome. Maybe it is just that nostalgia, I don't know. I need to actually fully watch it but I can't do anymore streaming services. Anyway, not to take it there, but the lack of weird foot jokes in the new show is like. a million times better than in the original, even when I was a kid I never found any of those bits funny.
If Mrs Shay is a main character across the next season Mrs Benson would be a very good character to have her with as both are mothers but on opposite ends of how involved they are in their kid’s lives. Mrs Shay has been so long absent Carly and Spencer have no strong feelings about her positive or negative while Marissa was the overbearing mother cliche made manifest. Mrs Shay trying to navigate building relationships with Carly and Spencer would be interesting to follow, and very different from if she’d returned when Carly was a teenager still.
I haven't been able to watch it due to it being on paramount. So this is how I've been able to watch it and one day I might get paramount for a month and being watch. I'm slowly tackling the surviver episode. I hope there's a nother Pokémon one soon. I know all your videos take a lot of time. You put a lot of care into them. I'll be here when they get here. I love that you released this iCarly episode on the day of the ending of its run. Just shows how dedicated you are. Screw the haters. Don't apologize for being you and releasing amazing content.
I’ve been watching this season and have been wanting to hear your thoughts especially about the finale . I don’t see why they shouldn’t get a season 4 as it’s a fairly popular revival. Great video as always.
I genuinely do not know what Harper contributed this season. She was just an inciter for the Catillion and that was basically it. Completely sidelined in favor of doing justice to Carly and Freddie’s relationship
Are people really going to say that they should give more attention to new characters over the returning cast? BS, Carly Freddie, and Spencer can carry the show by themselves. Harper and to a lesser extent Millicent serve functional roles. There is no way I would sacrifice Carly, Freddie, or Spencer's screen time for anything. You have to pick and choose what and who you focus on each season
I gotta say, Spencer having children out in the world and only 1 of them having the tendency to have things catch fire around them is definitely less terrifying
The Spencer/offspring plot was easily my favorite plot throughout the season, it was so hilarious especially with how Potter was his favorite. I loved it
i wasn't totally convinced that i would like icarly, but after having watched it, it was great. i loved it. the fact they brought lewbert back was the highlight for me :)
The orginals icarly show was my childhood. This series by not be a good as the orginals series, it still okay. I just need to see and adult gibby and Sam puckett
I hope that the success this revival is having, as well as the writing being better each season, really motivate Noah and Jeanette to at least have a brief appearance to give their characters closure
@@tsukimiloGuys both the actors have repeatedly stated they do not want to be a part of the Series because of their Trauma, please let's respect their experiences and not constantly bring them up. Jeanette McCurdy doesn't even want to continue acting, and Noah absolutely hated the Gibby Character.
@@ΑΡΙΣΤΟΤΕΛΗΣΛΑΧΑΝΟΠΟΥΛΟΣI would say that they are too different to really compare. The original was better for what it was, but this is better for its older audience. The show aged with you and you changed, thats fine. But the original was for the you then.
Also, Nathan putting out a playlist for "people in love with their best friend" gave me PTSD flashbacks to myself 12 years ago. 0/10, would not recommend being in the demographic for that playlist.
I really enjoyed this seasona Harper and her gf so cute! ❤ and idk why but the cat episode Spencer had me dying laughing dressed up as a cat 😂😂 hes the best
Ms. benson and Spencer are easily my favorite ms in the reboot, they pick up their old characters so well and honestly carry the show. I love Harper too but they just capture their characters so well. So damn well.
The memories episode was the best one of the season. It cleared up some continuity questions and was just all around sweet, perhaps allowing us to truly see for the first time just how much they mean to each other. The finale, I have mixed feelings on. It was great to allude to Carly & Freddie wanting to get married, but the mom part felt a bit out of place for me. Especially with her just randomly showing up to a venue that wasn't even supposed to be Carly & Freddie's wedding until the last second. While nice to finally address it, it felt like a final curveball thrown in to really hope for a 4th season, which we don't even get.
I thought this season was really good, but kind of rushed, I feel like Freddie and Pearl’s relationship should have ended the last episode of season 2, and there should have been a couple more episodes of him and Carly being single before getting together, but I still really enjoyed it, and there better be a season 4 because that cliffhanger got me hooked more than ever
The Thing is. If Creddie happened in Like UdK Episode 7 or 8 or in the season finale, we wouldn't have seen any Creddie content at all cause it sadly got cancelled.
The fact that jerry trainer aka spencer cut his hair again made me cry i was like nooo your finally a rich man who looks like a hippie thats a wow factor in life 😢❤
Wow, I had checked out reviews of the first two seasons and thought the show sounded okay, but not something I was really interested in. But this video makes season 3 sound great and actually makes me wanna watch the show.
That last episode was amazing. Great emotional beats while also having top-tier comedy. Made me laugh out loud when they thought Danica died and kept going on with the wedding. A quality joke about minor characters in TV.
This was my favorite season of this show since I liked most of the episodes. But, I hope that next season we get to see more stories related to the web show that are related to what present-day social media is like for content creators.
I personally don't like how Pearl just became unhinged by comparison to the second season. She seemed really weird all of a sudden, almost like she went from a normal person as much as Ex-Principle Franklin, but then went batshit like Lewbert.
Josh's character Paul is fun addition to ICarly. Although it would have been fun to see them bring back Josh's character From Drake & Josh and see how he handles managing someone that looks like Megan.
This was the best season so far, my only real complaint is that I wish Harper got more/better plotlines. Let her plots be about things she's dealing with and struggling with, not just her relationship with girlfriend of the season and contributing to the 'for humor' side plots.
The original had a good portion of adult jokes as well. Remember the bigfoot episode where Carly looking through the Binoculars tells Freddie says she sees some squirrels wrestling to which Freddie replies, Carly, they aren't wrestling.
I cam honestly say after some highs and lows in the first two seasons, this third season makes it certain that this show has finally found its footing. Not just saying because I’m a Creddie fan and have been since the original show. Although that was amazing, the writing and emotional moments were so brilliant and allowed the characters to continue to grow and have more comedic moments. I’m really excited for the fourth season if they renew it!
I agree with what you said. This was a really good season that improved on what was lacking in the previous seasons. And I definitely want to see what happens with Carly’s mom. The only thing I still don’t like is Millicent. She is clearly just a stand-in for Sam’s meanness. But Sam was always written as charming, despite how menacing she is. I find Millicent just grating. Which isn’t a problem with the young actress, just the way she is written. I never feel like she actually loves Freddie, who is a single parent with a lot on his plate.
Millicent isn't a comparison for Sam in any way😐she has her own millennial vibe and it works great for her character as Freddie's daughter and she does love him and her family. Sam was entirely something else with her own badass teen vibe on her own, they are not to be compared

Maybe the drinks teleported them there who knows 😂 Very funny though
Gotta say, this was a solid season. The characters kinda found their groove here.
And now the show is cancelled, that sucks. It had finally found its footing and direction
😂😂😂 Harper yelling YOU HAVE A MOM had me in tears 🤣🤣🤣🤣 i love the reboot and the cast and this season was just fantastic 😊
as Jerry Trainor has aged, he looks more and more like an actual dad and I love it
I truly Enjoy Season 3, is a Great way to have Fun, balance the Mature Tone with the Over the Top Atmosphere, the Characters are Great, and is Hilarious as Hell,I’m Looking Forward for Season 4.
thank you so much for covering this reboot! i don't have the energy to watch it myself (i'm pretty notoriously bad at watching anything not youtube in my friend group) but i've really enjoyed your coverage of it (as well as your other content ofc). i hope they get a season 5 i get to hear about via you!
Definitely was waiting for this
Season 3 is the only season that I genuinely liked, all the others felt like forced social commentary (fan fiction)to me, this season took us back to the original series with the HEART that the first two seasons of the revival were lacking.
Is the original series not at least in some part social commentary? Like it's very early 2000s type stuff but I think it still counts.
@@starlightsoiree not really lol
The Josh Peck episodes were the only good episodes in s2 that genuinely felt like icarly
@anthonygarcia8749 it literally is but you have the media literacy of a grape, even for kid's shows
This season was really one of the best including the OG!
As insane as this 2023 show is, I think the original will always hold the title for most insane.
Spencer making tons of fires is already insane 😂
Agreed
You grow up you dnt stay young anymore so the show grew up do also move on the past one is in the past
Betting you watched the quinton videos
@@lonelylexi1232 I have. All of them.
I genuinely loved S3 and agree with you on a lot of points.
Long time no see! It feel like *decades* since we last heard from you!!!
it's been 2 weeks
@@JordanFringe94I still hadn't seen your content In awhile and honestly feels like It...
I been waiting for this video!! Thank u for all the hard work you put in these 😊 my favorite to watch
WELP, there goes future iCarly reviews
I see "Sandra" from Superstore here. I love her. This review makes me wanna give the show a shot
Sandra AND her son make an appearance!
Yeah if they don't know what to do with here, then they should just write her character off.
@@mechajay3358Carly still needs a friend but Harper wasn’t given much
I liked them sidelining her 😂😂
She’s there bc she’s g@y and paramount wants to be inclusive
Are people really going to say that they should give more attention to new characters over the returning cast? BS, Carly Freddie, and Spencer can carry the show by themselves. Harper and to a lesser extent Millicent serve functional roles. There is no way I would sacrifice Carly, Freddie, or Spencer's screen time for anything. You have to pick and choose what and who you focus on each season
i really hope this show gets renewed for a 4th season! i have been loving it ever since it came out.
I gotta say, Spencer having children out in the world and only 1 of them having the tendency to have things catch fire around them is definitely less terrifying
The Spencer/offspring plot was easily my favorite plot throughout the season, it was so hilarious especially with how Potter was his favorite. I loved it
i really wish they would stop writing cliffhangers unless they had assurances they were getting renewed
i wasn't totally convinced that i would like icarly, but after having watched it, it was great. i loved it. the fact they brought lewbert back was the highlight for me :)
I missed this season, and this video made me wanna binge it.
Josh Peck not canonically being Josh after the whole old crossover thing happened is upsetting to me.
The finale was crazy especially with the end of the episode
Hell yeah man I was waiting for your video on this! They’ve made it pretty interesting tbh this season was better
I wish they had a real live audience for this season. Would’ve had the best reactions since literal 90s shows
I loved the 3rd season! My favorite by FAR. I love the whole wedding plot and how natural Creddie evolved :')
@@tsukimilowould be cool but doesn’t seem likely
Jeanette clearly does not want to return to acting due to the trauma her mother put her through
@@tsukimiloGuys both the actors have repeatedly stated they do not want to be a part of the Series because of their Trauma, please let's respect their experiences and not constantly bring them up. Jeanette McCurdy doesn't even want to continue acting, and Noah absolutely hated the Gibby Character.
The revival may not be as good as the original series, But nevertheless it's still awesome to see these iconic actors play these roles again!!!
James Maslow returning was a big surprise. At this point, I want the entire BTR to perform in an iCarly episode
You're nostalgia tripping. The revival is much better.
Nah the og was good, but it was poorly written. This show is much better written and more enjoyable / funny.
youre wrong but ok
So damn well.
no reboot is ever gonna come close to this one like they got the formula perfect
They better tell us what the goat did to Carly on her birthday, at some point.
The fact that jerry trainer aka spencer cut his hair again made me cry i was like nooo your finally a rich man who looks like a hippie thats a wow factor in life 😢❤
Trueee.. but I'm digging the gray hair tbh 😅 he should definitely grow it out again, but keep that gray hair 🥵
I cannot wait to see who Carly's mother is and i do hope there will be a season 4!!!
I've always been on Team Creddie and its the best community that I get to be apart of 😊
Wow, I had checked out reviews of the first two seasons and thought the show sounded okay, but not something I was really interested in. But this video makes season 3 sound great and actually makes me wanna watch the show.
That last episode was amazing. Great emotional beats while also having top-tier comedy. Made me laugh out loud when they thought Danica died and kept going on with the wedding. A quality joke about minor characters in TV.
7:20 Hey if you are going to wear Sandals and Socks your going to be called that has anyone seen Rocket Power that's where 90s kids know
Not me thinking the drone was going to say pee on Carl
I just finished the season 3 finale and all I want right now is season 4!!!
Give Us a line "You look really familiar to someone i know" lol
Or is the sister of someone who looks exactly like Crazy Steve.
I think "tuscan strolls didn't transfer" is my favorite joke of the season
Miranda looks so beautiful
32:08 just reminds me of Tim Duncan knocking over his plant celebrating when Spencer did that.
Your reviews on season 1 and 2 got me to watch season 3 as each episode released.
This was the best season so far, my only real complaint is that I wish Harper got more/better plotlines. Let her plots be about things she's dealing with and struggling with, not just her relationship with girlfriend of the season and contributing to the 'for humor' side plots.
The Carly and Freddie stuff was well written
"That's not a throbbing lighthouse..." remember, this started as a kids show xD
That’s an Austin Powers gag. The second episode did do the Pee On Carl joke though.
Easily hands down the best Season of the show. The writing, the characters are all quality and I binged the entire Season in one sitting today.
I've enjoyed every season
But I feel like this one really allowed every character to actually show off their acting skillz
Wait, so you're telling me there is a legitimate Five Nights At Freddy's reference in ICarly? Finally the timeline I want to live in
I agree with what you said.
ICarly doing what Zoey 102 didn't, and that's treat their fans with respect
