Very useful. People hate it for no stops and no compatibility with the original lens caps. The cap can be bought and you are not really supposed to work in the X artifect zone (>400ND) anyway so if you see that on screen you know you need to stop and wind back.

Thank you so much for reviewing exactly what is on the video's title. All the "K&F ND Filter nd2 to nd400" I click is, in fact, a review of the "NANO-x" version, each is more expensive.

Have you noticed the loss of sharpness while using this filter? It looks obvious when you took VND filter off at 6:27. :(

Do you find you loose sharpness when using it? It looks like it but I wouldn't trust what I'm seeing on my little laptop on TH-cam :D

Nicely done video I have been using K&F variable Nd filter for a while honestly your videos is too dark and clouds look way over exposed most of the time. My current variable ND from KF is different I have scratched it too much that's why I watched your video I want to try this one. The other one is double the price that I have and looks like this one has double the reviews. I also shoot with Panasonic Lumix G85 curious how it will look. I wish you would film in more Open area not between the walls that could be throwing out the colors and messing up the light

Hi, i have the same nd filter as yours but im not sure which stop im going to use. Should i turn on zebra line and twist to any stops of nd filter until zebra lines are gone? ( i tried and it’s too dark ) or you base on light meter of camera? Please share some knowledge thanks. And with my new lense sony 50mm f1.8, i cant find a nd filter with the same size

So when shooting clog3 you need to over exposure a little so honestly I would set my shutter to double my frame rate and set my aperture between f2.5 and f4. Then I would set my ISO to a low base level. Then I adjust the ND until my subject is free of any zebra pattern, it’s okay to have the sky a bit blown out but not too much. The dynamic range of clog is pretty good so you should be able to bring the highlights down and your shadows up slightly in post when color grading.

I just saw you have a Sony so you won’t have clog3 but you should have a similar flat color profile you will be using.

Fun fact about York and its walls: you can legally kill a Scotsman within the York walls (providing they are carrying a bow and arrow) xD
