How to Make Spoked Steel Wheels- Engine Cart

Today I demonstrate how to make your own steel wheels. Reasonably simple to make using a welder, cut off saw, angle grinder and a few other basic tools. It takes about two hours to make each wheel. I show you how to cut the pipe used to make the wheel rims, wheel hub and spokes. I talk through the process of aligning the spokes and welding them in. The finished product is very studying and looks the part.

You re very good in explaining how to make a wheel, you after making one use it to make a jig. Then all you have to do is cut all the metal and place them in the jig !!!

Great video to show how you made your wheels. Well done. Just a point about measurement. Your hubs are not 900mm but 90 and spokes you say are 13.5 mm and show on screen 1350mm. Both are incorrect and should be 135mm. Getting a bit confused with metrics I think. I must make some more wheels and you have shown some good tips here with clamping board,etc
