I enjoyed living in Vegas, but I definitely prefer living in Reno Nevada. The weather, scenery, and general feel of Reno are overall better for me and my family. Do you prefer Vegas or Reno?
In a nutshell, the Reno area is much better than Vegas. I prefer the smaller towns such as Fernley, Fallon, Dayton, etc. Vegas has turned into a total sh!t hole filled with homelessness drugs, crime, etc. Northern Nevada is much more family oriented, cooler summers, four seasons and just a better quality of life. I was surprised to see how many undesirable thugs are prowling around the Sumerlin area of Vegas. Las Vegas does NOT have four seasons lol.
It is dry up here as well. But, much cooler. We can get up to about 104-105 here in the summer, but that is pretty rare. I would say most summer days are in the upper 80s to mid 90s. The best part is that we drop by about 30 degrees at night in the summer, so you can really feel it cooling down at night by about 6-7pm here.
Yes I love living in both Reno and Las Vegas. They're both great places. Here's the problem. All the crime is spilling over from California's comedy rule. Enginevada, and it's causing the home value to skyrocket. So fast you used to be able to live there for an affordable home portable price , not no more

Very true! Northern Nevada is definitely a better family-oriented area, I definitely agree.

It definitely beats Vegas for the outdoors!
You said "Phoenix Nevada." As a Phoenix resident myself I wasn't aware the city moved to a different state now l 😅

It's now Employee Eating / Break room .
Good to know, thank you! It used to be one of the better buffets here, that is a bummer.

It’s becoming a problem in many areas, though. Vegas, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, not just Reno.
