Last June i went to this place and while standing on the glass i jumped a few times and when i looked up everyone but the employee taking my picture looked at me like i was crazy. I'd do it again if i go back to Chicago someday.
Why the fuck would they think its a good idea to have the piece of glass people stand on, 103m above the ground, BREAKABLE. They said this shit was NORMAL>?>?????
im surprised it was not tempered lammy and they didnt replace the entire floor also tempered glass is incredibly strong you can hit it with a hammer in the middle and it wont break its only on the edges if it gets hit then it will break
they should probably put a sign up explaining how that top piece is meant to break first. Like a screen saver.
The news reporter kept one leg back in the building😂
Joan Clayton if the glass shattered he still would’ve fell as more weight was focused in the room with the glass.
if they didn't have the thin replaceable layer it would get so scratched you wouldn't be able to see through it after a year

Mate it’s a fucking observation deck you don’t have to look down past your dick to observe
@@T2G-DJT did we read the same comment?
Three layers of glass. two safety layers and a top wear layer.

So in other words once a visitor gets ptsd they know its time to replace top layer.
No one was ever in danger, how can they ever assure anyone of that? What a stupid idea.
I still do not believe that, its just too dangerous
