IMO the genius is in designing color stories for a *coordinating* blush and eyeshadow palette that *each* offer a variety of looks. E.g. each can do a cool pink look that can be worn together without looking clownish/clashing, while neither is limited to that look. That is, they can each also do a warm, golden look that can be worn together, etc. Hope that makes sense! Thx for the review; this might be my first blush palette purchase.

Nars is my favourite brand for eyeshadow and blush. The quality of the eyeshadows is head and shoulders above other brands I have tried. I am really tempted with this collection. I was about to order one of the Hourglass palettes, but I'm seriously considering these two instead. Thank you for all your hard work showing us all the new releases so quickly and with so much information ❤

Hi lovely Rebecca , I really love the eye look you created. The blush palette is stunning but I have a few single blushes that I rotate and they are my favourites. Hourglass , Sisley and then Chanel old formula. Will put Nars on my xmas list .

I’ve always loved NARS too & look forward to his releases! I have the Orgasm Rising palette and one from years ago and I have to say, I use it, still, on a regular basis! NARS was really my first forait into the luxury space of cosmetics.
Same for me. It was an early love and was such a splurge when I was younger and in a way it’s still retains that special quality.

My eyeshadow palette arrived yesterday. I can’t wait to wear it! It’s so pretty on you! I don’t do their face palettes anymore. I tend to use single blushes WAY more!

I really like Nars face pallets so I'm very interested in it. I think the eyeshadow pallet is very pretty, too, but I have so many eyeshadow pallets that are too similar. NARS reminds me of "the girl next door" of makeup brands . Reliable, pretty and sweet. They don't get all the attention sometimes may get called boring but are truly a classic.
I think that’s actually a very good description of the brand. They are chic and reliable and always fun but never surprising and that’s a good thing too.

Hi Rebecca, I have to say that as pretty as that palette is, it looks like their other palettes. My favorite palettes from NARS are the Skin Deep palette & the Climax palette. And they are so good. The Summer Unrated palette is good too. But I always appreciate how you always keeping us updated on a lot of the new makeup products. Thanks Rebecca. Love you.. 🥰🙏

I love nars and i love that it is a normal flat compact. Design could be prettier (there are such beautiful color combos i could Think of and we always get either boring or 3d BDSM) yet the product is usually worth it

Which eye palette do you think that you would get more use out of for a not-too-dramatic look: Orgasm Rising or Endless Nights? (I guess maybe that word "Nights" is a clue that this is sort of designed mostly for evening looks.....)

I LOVE Nars face palates, too. :) They are always such good quality and I agree with feeling elegant in them lol😂I also agree on HATING the shade names. Now, I’m in no way prudish, but a few years ago I was applying Nars Orgasm lip gloss on the bus, and a young girl (maybe 12) turned to me and said she loved my lip gloss color, and her Mom just started to allow her to wear lip gloss, and she asked what the brand and color name was. UGH! 😂I told her her forgot lok😂Her mother was sitting next to her and I could not tell her it was Orgasm 😂

I love Nars! I have 3 face palettes though so I have to stop! 😫☺️. There is something about the shades. They all flatter me so much and the highlighter is very wet looking. The eyeshadow palette is too warm for me unfortunately. I wish they did something different. A few years ago they had one in red packaging and it had a green, blue and purple/brown. My store sold out and I never got to see it in person.

I love NARS as well, although I feel the brand is lagging in the last couple of years. But still their blush palettes are always wonderful, and the Climax cool toned eyeshadow palettes is still one of my all time favorites! I with they would do more of that.

Probably the same person who doesn’t like the DPD sound effect.
Wherever you are sitting right now you literally must’ve just heard me laugh out loud. That whoever said we should not Fangirl over make up also hated the dark pits of despair sound effects. I honestly laughed so hard that I embarrassed myself. That was fantastic. And yes, this would be lovely on medium skintone and can be worn during the day as well. I just put on three shimmer shades and I probably wouldn’t do that for day. But go ahead if you want. 💕
I’ve been a NARS fan for quite some time. The release of Orgasm was what really catapulted the brand to fame. The more I see these palettes, the more I like them. Francois Nars obviously has an excellent eye for color!

Your eye look is gorgeous here! This color story is perfect for green eyes! I thought it would look pinker, but it seems more fall-ish in color to me…more terracotta leaning than pink. I love it!
I am loving baked cheek products in general. It seems like all I get now…for good reason. They look good on my old skin. It’s like you get the pluses of both cream and powder in one!
My eyes are more hooded than yours, and I put satin and even glittery topper shades sometimes up in my crease (call the makeup police! 🚨)They end up there anyway. I might as well put them where I want them! 💁🏻♀️
Oh isn’t that the truth! When you have a hooded eye. People without hooded eyes do not understand, it’s gonna travel there anyway so you might as well put it there. That’s the best way I have ever heard it phrased. I absolutely love that.

Nars palettes are so difficult to open and we have been complaining about this for years!
I don’t know why this one was especially difficult ha ha!
I have 3 nars face palettes which have been used a couple times because I’m a cream and liquid blush and mostly cream bronzer gal but I need this face palette. I love that it seems the bronze shade is not too red and I love the red and cool pink. So it’s very different from the other palettes. How similar is the eye shadow palette to the charlotte tilbury Darling palette? Thanks lovely Rebecca for all these reviews!

These are very pretty palettes. Not what I'm looking for in a fall eyeshadow palette and the face palette bronzer/contour shade is too dark for my fair skin; but I can see that others would enjoy these. I've only tried Afghan Red lipstick (too dry for my uber dry lips) and a beautiful coral blush, which clashed with my cool fair skin tone, so I haven't had a good experience with Nars so far. I do hear great things about the brand, though. I want to like it, lol.
Oh my goodness. I have so been there with certain brands. And I always keep coming back and trying but there are just certain brands and I just continually have bad experiences with. I will spare them and not name them here but I do understand where you’re coming from.

I’m such a whore for NARS. I always buy it all. Always. I pretend that I can resist but it’s impossible. It’s completely different from the cool Natasha Denona palette. The pinks in these NARS palettes are so beautiful. My husband hates the marketing ( names. You get it 🤷🏼♀️) but the products are soo good. Thank you for another awesome review! 🥰

For the first time in a very long time, my interest in Nars has been piqued! I have a blush palette but if I’m honest I don’t really use it because I find it too shimmery. I think I’ll wait until these arrive in Sephora so I can see them for myself. I could however be tempted by the eye shadow palette
I love this particular eyeshadow palette because it can do everything from subtle to dramatic and I love that the glimmer shades didn’t put stuff all over my cheeks.

The only issues I have with the Nars eyeshadow palette 🎨 back then the colors always changed on me with my chemistry so I 🛑 stopped buying wonder if it's still like that anymore weird right 😂❤ let me know cause I can try again and get a discount at sephora 😊 kohl's cause of my husband Richard his second part time job he can get me an extra 15% off or if I have credit to sephora alone with my credit card 💳 lol 😅
It does happen. All Charlotte Tilbury Pinks go Orange on me so there is something about our body chemistry

Unfortunately, the eyeshadow palette is way too similar to the orgasm palette that I have, so it’s a pass for me. But the face palette definitely is a must have!
