    I'm glad to see that work on the Z3X, I use a chain hoist at home but I don't have a way to do it in the field.

      It may be a little tricky in the field unless you have a concrete driveway to put the Jungle Jack on. But yeah it works good out in the field. Takes up little space in the box truck! 👍

      If there's not a hard surface for the Jack wheels, I pull the front of the mower on the ramp.
      Got to work around the ramp cables but that's not bad.

      Hey bud, yeah I have Ballard's super Jack at home but I'd like to add the Jungle Jack for the field. Ballard's is wide and bulky for Mobile use.

    Very good point about the holes lining up on the jungle Jim Jack so that the safety pin can be installed. Thank you. It would have been helpful to tell us how much force you had to exert to lift each machine and to comment on its degree of difficulty.

    • @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri
      @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had to exert a lot of force to get the Z3X up. But the Toro Titan was really easy because all of the weight (engine) is in the back. I really wouldn’t recommend for a stander mower. A lot easier on a sit down mower. Hope that helps! 👍

      @@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri I have a 36 inch gravely walk behind commercial mower. I can't risk buying this lift and not knowing whether or not the holes will line up. It's expensive and I'm just not going to risk it. Thank you for your review and advice, very helpful. Take care.

    I owned a Jungle Jack for a while and thoroughly enjoyed it! Very quick and easy way to lift mowers!

      @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’ve been using it more and more. So easy with the sit down riders. Take a little bit more muscle with the Z3 though. You can line up all your mowers and lift one, then the other without having to move them all around. It’s nice! Thanks for watching man! 👍

    Ah bro! i have a jungle jack also, along with a z3x. I cant get mine to lift at all. But watching you do it maybe Ive been doing it wrong. I did reach out to the company just last week and they responded back with changing out the 2" tooth that came with the jack and replacing it with their 3" tooth. I dont think they even know if it will work or not. only time will tell. Keep up the great video content and rock on!

      Thanks for watching! What kind of issues were you having with your Jungle Jack? Would it not stay on the deck? Was it slipping off? Where did you try to lift the mower at? Any info would help out!

    I have Toro ZMaster 4000 with 48" deck. Recently picked up the Jungle Jack. Seems the 2"hook might be a bit too small. Is this in fact the case? Do I need to purchase the larger hook?

      I'm really not sure. I think when I bought mine there was only one option. That may have changed now. I would contact them directly and see which one they recommend. I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction on this one.

    If you watch the TH-cam video the company made about the Jungle Jack it tells you to remove the pin and lower the safety arm until it's on the ground...then insert the pin into the other hole...THEN raise the mower. The printed instructions tell you to use it only on concrete or hard surfaces, not on a lawn. It also says never to put your head under the mower without jack stands in place, and sure as heck not on grass. Be careful dude. Don't lose your head.

      Huh? I don't see how the jack can work if you pin the safety arm down first. You have to jack and then pin. The man's problem was using it on soft ground. He figured it out in the shop. Jack then pin.

    I am quite intrigued with that jack for my residential ZTR. However, I have a concern that you may be able to answer. That fold down assist-step seems quite high. I'm in my mid-60's with arthritic knees. You seem to have to step really high to reach that pedal. I'm not sure I could do it.

    • @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri
      @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes sir. It is pretty high. I would have to measure to see how high it is off the ground. If mobility is good, I don’t think you will have any issues. If you can bend your knees enough and lift your leg to the 3rd step (skipping the 2nd step), I think you would be able to use this lift. Hope that helps some.

  • @OldSloGuy

    If you want excellent access, back the mower up some auto ramps. The Jungle Jack will then lift the front and there will be lots of access to inspect the transmission and any idler pulleys or mud caked on the transmission, keeping it form proper cooling. Nobody wants to buy a new mower ahead of schedule because they didn't get a good look see before things went south.

  • @80srockerable

    I think the pin line up issue is small tires sinking in. I bet if had a small piece of 1/4" plywood would emininate sink & make jack easier.
    Maybe they need to go to wider tires for grass use.

    Your problem is that you are trying the jack on the soft ground, causing the wheels to digg in the ground. That in turn limits an angle that the security arm was design to travel. Looks that the Jungle Jack was design (and rightfullt so) to be used on a solid base like a garage floor. Using the jack on a soft ground create risk of loss of stability, and IMO is not safe and not recommended.

      I use jacks and jack stands on grass but always use 3/8 steel plate under jack, and 2 X 8 wood under both jack stands…so 1jack and 2 jack stands. I have a Ferris Z3X 52” stander, very heavy and difficult to scrape and change blades. Thanks / Jim

  • @crabtrap
    @crabtrap 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    looks like a cool tool but its a 'one trick pony', i'll stick with my hi-lift jack which pulls posts, winches and about a hundred other things. i'd never crawl under with ANY of the jacks out there tho. jack stands or 4x4 back up to any jack for me

    • @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri
      @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely recommend putting car ramps or blocks under the tires if you’re going to be completely underneath for any reason. Works great for swapping out blades real quick tho.

  • @fitnesslawncare5306
    @fitnesslawncare5306 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    On any lift ,you need a solid base surface not a grassy ground, you wouldn't put a car jack under a car that way this is not any different.

  • @JohnC-kc5uh

    When doing this is grass jungle jack wheels will sink due to weight of mower, making the holes to misalign, but I'm sure you already knew that.
