Lovely hotel. Great staff. Clean, new, modern rooms. Comfy beds, great shower. Our sea view room was excellent. The staff were incredibly efficient, helpful and professional. Location is good. Fanabe isn’t the most beautiful beach but it’s good. Close to Del Duque beach which is nicer. El Camison beach also fairly close if you don’t mind a bit of a walk.

Baobab was the first place I stayed at in Tenerife - but it's gotten very pricey. I'll try this place next time I'm in the Canaries. Thanks for posting!

Stayed in the prestige room a while ago and it was very nice , but this Saturday we are off to the Baobab suites for 10 nights , been wanting to do it for a few years now , after that we are going back to the melia jardines in the Level .
All fine hotels Neil! Baobab is excellent. I still always end up back at the Melia though 😃
Stopped in star prestige when it first opened, prizes are just getting crazy now in Tenerife.
You’re not kidding..prices are astronomical at the moment. Still, it’s Tenerife so we pay it 😁

My wife and I are just back from this hotel. We went Star Prestige. It is a sustainable hotel, i.e. no written information anywhere. An app with little information is provided. You’re dependent on desk staff giving you any relevant information when arriving. My wife is physically impaired and finds great difficulty is using stairs. The outdoor prestige area is beautiful but has steps. There is a lift outside down to the beach in place of steps. We weren’t told. There is a separate seating area in the restaurant for prestige clients. We weren’t told and only discovered it the day before we left. The upstairs lounge for prestige we referred to as ‘the dentist’s waiting room’ as it lacks anything attractive. Just a narrow characterless room. No stage for entertainment. Just the corner of a large meeting room with a large, strange structure in the centre. We hated the place.
What an island…

Hi Neil, loved the drone footage as always and the hotel.
I think it would be awesome if you could do a vid on a bit more of the travel hack side of things. For us ladies and gents without status for these less known brands. E.g. what benefits would we get from booking via say Emir on Head For Points or Debonair contacts via Michelle's Turning Left For Less. Many will not have status in these Spanish/Canary Island brands, so feel this info would be essential on how and when to book. thx 😎
You know, that’s an excellent idea. I’ve spent my adult life trying to hack the hotel stays - stand by!
Is it on the beach?
It’s just a short walk from the beach but not directly on the beach itself
