For video suggestions, how about these? 1. Compare anime-based figures and original character figures from the same manufacturer and judge which the company does better. 2. Game where you guess the manufacturer, price, and release year for some figures. Possibility of a collab here like you did with The Price Is Right. 3. Spotlighting awful figures, especially if they're not counterfeits.

The Hinata figure turned out great , I have the Kenma and Kruoo on pre-order right now. If they make figures for the rest of the boys that would be heaven. I love all of them especially akaashi and bokuto. I think I saw a suna one too. He looks great as well, let’s all pray they also make them into figures
totally agree with your take about the thematic appeal of the Power and Makima figure. The fact that it's directly based on an illustration by Fujimoto is what makes it feel so perfect to me, thematically. It very subtly captures a complicated dynamic, which is cool to see in a piece of merchandise! I do wish the execution was better, but I still wanna pick it up someday lol

I think the real problem is the opposite of what your pointing out. Nearly every figure now has oversized body parts especially ridiculous chests. Its so tiring. There's more petite women in reality than the false proportions being put into figures now. That's way more salacious than petite. But I suppose the figures are not supposed to represent reality. At the end of the day its each to their own. Figure collecting is about fun, it is after all just a piece of plastic. Sorry! 😂
No that actually is the problem, there’s a very large amount of people that can’t separate fiction from reality, they see a drawing or a piece of plastic and treat it as if it’s a real human being. Kotobukiya were pushing those figures a lot, I seen so many posts of them, I’m just a massive fan of Kotobukiya, their figures are cheap, they usually always try to do something unique with the base, they do great poses and have great likeness to the characters. They just released pictures of their new YuYu Hakusho figures and they’re absolutely amazing, I’m definitely getting Hiei, maybe some of the others too.
Kotobukiya also is the only company that makes great quality Yu-Gi-Oh figures of several characters and not just dark magician girl like most companies, which is why they’re my fave xD

There’s quite a few FuRyu figure go to the bargain bin, I’ve got a few Overlord figures that dropped a lot, I got the White Dress, and China Dress Albedo’s and both dropped a lot in price. But from ¥50k to ¥20k is a big drop.

I wasn't able to pre-order him BUT I was able to get Kenma so I'm happy. The size of the Pop Up Parade Large seems to be inconsistent, I got the Guts Large Pop and it’s probably a 1/8 scale, I just got the Large Goblin Slayer and he’s much bigger, at least a 1/6.

I plan to buy a Ryza figure next. The one where she is kneeling on the beach and holding a towel above her. She looks so happy and I think it will cheer me up when I look at her. There are sooo many figures I want but they are so expensive I can only buy one at a time. I am a doll collector who got into figures a few months ago. Dolls are so cheap compared to figures. 😭 I could get like 7 dolls for the price of one scale. I have 3 preorders: 1/4 snow Miku, Freeing bunny Homura and Racing Miku sitting on the cake.

I don't think she looks loli at all. She's far to leggy. She looks like she has the same proportions as Miku (especially the swimsuit model from Project Diva).
The last figure is beautiful, I love the expression and sculpting, painting and just everything about her is amazing, I remember seeing her pop up on pre-order and if I wasn’t poor I would’ve pre ordered her I wasnt aware that she was a Loli ( and not just a lady with smaller boobs or smth) , as long as there’s not an ill intent I think it’s kinda okay ? ( idk) those kind of figures are my guilty pleasure too lol, love the videos, any videos you post I enjoy watching so feel free to experiment a bit :)
That’s all that a loli is, all you have to do is increase the bust size and the character stops being a loli, how silly is that? The people who complain about loli are just silly, they’re fictional characters. Does that look like a human being to you? Blue hair, elf ears, red eyes and vampire teeth.
Btw a character that has the loli bodytype isn't automatically a child character😅 But it's ok for you to feel uncomfortable if it reminds you of a child. Everyone can feel uncomfortable over any piece of fiction. (Btw, you shouldn't feel guilty over these anime figures if you're actually not a dangerous person. Worrying about what tiktok thinks is really a waste imo)
I don't think I have anything too problematic. Maybe a couple with larger than average chests, one showing off her butt while sitting down, a couple with very loose yukatas. I have some wish listed, but my urge to get them is low, and mostly based on lower cost and availability. I do admit I might want a naked Holo, but it seems a bit much for my collection. Per my sister, "If you like it then put it up and enjoy it." As well as, "There's nothing bad about a little sultry." Meanwhile, I'm gushing over my pair of Lucky Star prize figures wearing kimonos, of the twin sisters. That was a very lucky find off AmiAmi. I did pick up the Solarain Blue figure, the voluptuous and cyberpunkish one with the school girl uniform over a leotard. Can see the face issue but I think it looks good otherwise. Also got the Amagi from Azur Lane, lightly-armored version, which I just love for being a beautiful fox lady. Later this week will be the Futaba figure in her normal outfit. Coming with her is F/GO Hokusai in her traveling/art student looking attire. I also have the hanfu girl by Anmi, that one just looked beautiful. And a prize figure of KanColle's Iowa in a kimono which will go with Warspite and Yamato.
I can understand the loli inspo behind her design but for me its like what short women dont exist in anime? like u said she has hips like the artist asanagi does small chests with big hips and crazy face like that but people still say its loli like hello small chested women exist, when u compare it to actual loli characters and art you really see that it isnt at all but its definitely catered to those types of fans.

I too don't go for Loli figures at all however I was back and forth for like a year before I gave in and bought Bombergirl Aqua 1. I like her better than the second version for the pose although I still would love to get the second version. The last figure is beautiful, I love the expression and sculpting, painting and just everything about her is amazing, I remember seeing her pop up on pre-order and if I wasn’t poor I would’ve pre ordered her I wasnt aware that she was a Loli ( and not just a lady with smaller boobs or smth) , as long as there’s not an ill intent I think it’s kinda okay ? Btw a character that has the loli bodytype isn't automatically a child character😅 But it's ok for you to feel uncomfortable if it reminds you of a child. Everyone can feel uncomfortable over any piece of fiction. (Btw, you shouldn't feel guilty over these anime figures if you're actually not a dangerous person. Worrying about what tiktok thinks is really a waste imo)

Still very overpriced but the chainsawman figure still looks good, Makima looks amazing.
I don't think I have anything too problematic. Maybe a couple with larger than average chests, one showing off her butt while sitting down, a couple with very loose yukatas. I have some wish listed, but my urge to get them is low, and mostly based on lower cost and availability. I do admit I might want a naked Holo, but it seems a bit much for my collection.

Meanwhile, I'm gushing over my pair of Lucky Star prize figures wearing kimonos, of the twin sisters. That was a very lucky find off AmiAmi. I did pick up the Solarain Blue figure, the voluptuous and cyberpunkish one with the school girl uniform over a leotard. Can see the face issue but I think it looks good otherwise. Also got the Amagi from Azur Lane, lightly-armored version, which I just love for being a beautiful fox lady.
Later this week will be the Futaba figure in her normal outfit. Coming with her is F/GO Hokusai in her traveling/art student looking attire. I also have the hanfu girl by Anmi, that one just looked beautiful. And a prize figure of KanColle's Iowa in a kimono which will go with Warspite and Yamato.

I can understand the loli inspo behind her design but for me its like what short women dont exist in anime? like u said she has hips like the artist asanagi does small chests with big hips and crazy face like that but people still say its loli like hello small chested women exist, when u compare it to actual loli characters and art you really see that it isnt at all but its definitely catered to those types of fans.

I too don't go for Loli figures at all however I was back and forth for like a year before I gave in and bought Bombergirl Aqua 1. I like her better than the second version for the pose although I still would love to get the second version. I just love the expression on her face and her little bat guys like you Aqua is my guilty pleasure I suppose as she still is an awesome figure
