I remember a old video from like 2009 where he was teaching himself how to sing so he's not lying about this he was teaching himself how to layer his vocals and do chords... He had to be like no more than 15 or 16 in that video...it's on TH-cam somewhere

He don't use autotune because he can actually sing, it's wonderful!
He does use auto tune, every artist today uses auto tune, using it doesn’t change wether or not the singer is good, and auto tune can’t make a bad singer good, but it can make it smoother

I just be wondering how he smokes so much 🍃 and still has great vocals. He even smokes when he's recording and still sounds great. How tf??? Its like i take a few hits to get high and record but then my voice starts fucking up. How he do it?!?!?!
As someone who gets compliments on how they sing. A lot of it you rlly just have to feel feel. Like I’ll sing sad songs better than I do with ones where they’re all over the place. It’s way harder coming up with lyrics and finding your own tune than to match pitch with someone else. I’d start off with that if you really wanted to get better. And if you smoke grass and sing it’s the same as being drunk. Your body and vocals will feel it too. It’s all balance.

I think it’s all about hydration and knowing your limitations in your voice to where you know you’re range so you’re not over using your voice. Also exercising your vocal cords to make them stronger. Just saying this cause I damaged my vocal cords some years ago to where I lost my voice for a few years and had to go see a doctor, it was mostly from rapping without being hydrated and smoking weed a lot didn’t help
