I think I’m going to return my sandstone sharpener. I agree with you. It’s cheap for the price.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and skills! Very helpful information. It is very difficult to find good electrode information for me anyway. Perhaps I'm using the wrong search criteria.... Is it okay to purchase the longer electrodes and cut them in half to fit the welder? Is it the diameter of the electrode that is important or the alloy it's made of that makes it effective? Does this make sense? I'm a silversmith who is new to welding, and I appreciate your help on this. 😊
