Sunny’s hair is giving me Wendy Williams “how you doin Sunny!?” 👐🏽
It does! I miss wendy😢
😅😅😅😅😅😅
I made it a rule YEARS ago to never talk about someone's weight/body shape. Isn't none of my business. And my body shape is none of yours.
I learned that the hard way by asking "when are you due". I am still embarrassed after 30 years!
@amdearing9866 that is very smart on your part. Society is putting way to much on how people look.
@@lorrie2878OMG 😱 lorrie, I almost asked someone that 3 months ago and even though i didn’t actually, I’m still upset about it, so I how you MUST feel omg…whew… bless you!!
Totally agree, but it's kinda like you're damned if you do, damned if you don't. Criticism if you're struggling to lose weight and are having a hard time, and criticism if you're taking prescribed meds to help yourself. Seems like some people view taking the meds as "the easy way out." I think some people taking the meds hide it and don't speak the truth specifically because of that particular criticism. If you've ever struggled with your weight, NONE of it is easy.
Polanski was not guilty of 'rape-rape', says Whoopi Goldberg
'We're a different kind of society, we see things differently, in Hollywood' actor says in defence of Roman Polanski Hollywood has rallied behind Roman Polanski after his arrest in Switzerland over the weekend for the rape of a 14 year old, with the actor Whoopi Goldberg suggesting that whatever he was guilty of it wasn't "rape-rape".
As a speaker on The View chatshow on US television, she said: "I know it wasn't rape-rape. It was something else but I don't believe it was rape-rape. He went to jail and when they let him out he was like, 'You know what, this guy's going to give me a hundred years in jail. I'm not staying.' So that's why he left."
Later in the programme, she added: "We're a different kind of society in Hollywood, we see things differently ... would I want my 14-year-old having sex with somebody? Not necessarily, no."
This was the response from many female and some male bloggers was swift and furious.
On the Jezebel celebrity website , Lindsay wrote: "We learned about Whoopi's strange and fascinating moral universe, which includes the concept of "rape-rape." This is not the first time she has gone into bat for a Pedophile and she is still allowed to work.
On The Frisky Amelia McDonnell-Parry wrote: "Whoopi Goldberg, who I never expected to be a rape apologist, coins a term I've never heard before - 'rape-rape' .

Yea we was there..
I've lost a lot of weight strictly by diet and exercise and I get offended when people assume I had weight loss surgery or took some medication. They don't want to believe I was successful the "old-fashioned way." It's a difficult topic to navigate.
The bottom line is that it isn't their business. I don't understand why people are so nosy.
They can't imagine not eating a ton of sugar, because they can't. I lost 35 pounds just eliminating sugar, even natural sugar. Yes it was hard, because I like my veggies and fruits. And after the first 8 days on meat and animal products I lost 4.6 pounds and it gave me motivation to keep going, I added veggies back after the 8 days and saw I was still loosing weight. I was exercising until school was over, and then I saw that even without exercise I was still loosing a pound a week, which is a healthy weight loss. My kids' pediatrician noticed that I lost a lot of weight and jokingly asked me if I took ozempic, I bet because they now prescribe it to kids. I told her I'm not that crazy to put chemicals in my body and that I did diet. She did say a pound a week is the healthy way to do it. And the truth is that everyone's metabolism is different and they may or may not have to be super strict with sugar, but some people can't have any at all. And also, I think the older you are the harder it is and you will have to watch your sugar intake always if you want to keep the healthy weight.
I’ve been working really hard at successfully losing weight with a super strict diet and exercise and I would be really pissed too if people assumed that I just got on ozempic.
Let them think what they want. Since they think they know what you're doing after telling the truth.
Congrats for busting your butt!!!!❤❤❤❤
Why can't people just keep it at "you look great"? It's the least offensive thing you could say and it makes them feel good. It's none of your business how someone lost weight.
💯
None at all!
as a person who used to weigh 295 lbs. i do not care if or how people lost weight. at the weight i was i cliff climbed, i hiked, i camped. i had no high blood pressure or diabetes. the problem was i was a single parent to 4 boys and i could not get a decent job.
So, tell us: how did you lose the weight? ;-)
@@VintageTVMemories I don't think that was the point of their story. The point is that you cannot judge someone by their weight because there are factors ans reasons why that weight isn't gone.
They didn't suddenly summon the willpower and dieted/made changes just because they had 4 children to look after.
They had to finds some sort of stability or security in find the job first BEFORE they could work on themselves which is a LOT of pwople's stories.
How can people think about weight loss when they're already behind on their bills?
@@VintageTVMemories imderstand o lsaw a specialist and he assured me that if i went on a 900 cal. a day diet, in 2 to 3 years i would lose the weight. ths was 45 years ago, i was in my mid thirties then and my youngest was in grade 2. i really needed to get work and as a court of last resort i weht for bypass surgery with assurances that all would be well in five years. 45 years later i am still having issues that this surgery set up including now kidney issues.
@@VintageTVMemoriessame😅
To me, this seems simply a matter of manners. If you want to compliment someone, do it! You don't need to pry into their private struggle to somehow diminish their efforts, giving credit only to the drug company. Weight loss is a struggle, period. Help someone feel positive, don't pry.
Exactly!! What happened to manners?!? Just say "you look great! What's your secret?" Or whatever. 😂😂😂
Agree!!
Alyssa with the shade calling Sonny a Bond Villian😆
Honestly, would be a massive compliment for me.
@@thingthang2904 same, Bond villains are awesome.
Oooo Sunny came with the LOOK today hunnie!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
That look is called Resting B Face.
Yes she did❤
I've been on Wegovy for 2 months now and it's been incredibly helpful. I radically changed my lifestyle when I started the medication. I joined a mental health program, joined a gym, quit marijuana and became 100% sober, quit diet soda and started eating pretty clean with a lot more protein. I have so far lost just over 30 lbs. and am starting to notice my body getting stronger and moving becoming easier. This medication is slowly helping me feel better in my body and I am so grateful and more than happy to tell others that I am taking it. I am honest about every part of my journey because I think if you want the best results, you have to commit to an all-around approach and not just take it and eat the same as you were or not focus on your mental health, if you have a poor relationship with food (or yourself). These medications work best with diet & exercise and if we can share our stories and help other people feel as good as they've made me feel, I'm more than happy to be honest if someone asks me.
May I ask do u take just for weight loss only and does it stop you from wanting to eat like tricking the brain into thinking you’re full faster..
@@Peace12105 Wegovy works exactly like Ozempic just without the diabetes medicin in it. So it's just for weight loss. Made by the same company in the same factories etc., they just realised, the componant in Ozempic that was causing people to lose weight could be isolated and sold seperately. :)
@@christiansebastianlauritse2404 thank you
@@Peace12105 It’s prescribed solely for weight loss and weight-related issues. It helps you feel full faster and for longer so I can eat less food and feel satiated for longer. It gets rid of the food “noise” they call it so you’re not constantly wanting to eat or crave foods. Before, if I’d pass a restaurant where the food smelled really good, I’d get a craving for the food and want to eat it immediately and wouldn’t be satisfied until I had it or something similar. Now, I can smell it, acknowledge it and continue on without feeling that intense desire to gorge on it. That’s one example of the food noise but it’s been really helpful
@@Peace12105 that's exactly what it does. Also slows down digestion so food stays in your system longer.
If you answer the question how you lost the weight do NOT lie. Like Kelly Clarkson she was looking amazing and she totally flat out lied that she lost weight by walking more after she moved to New York. The walking most like helped in her losing weight but she took the medications that significantly, rather the very reason as to why she was able to lose all that weight in a very short period of time.
An Oprah
Oprah has finally admitted to using Wegovy.
Agree. It's the lie/omission, but I understand why. People criticize. You're shamed when you're overweight and you're shamed/viewed as "taking the easy way out" if you choose to take prescribed meds.
I don’t understand why people are afraid of saying what they did to loose weight ! Being healthy is the goal just say the way you did it!! It doesn’t matter how you did it.
Exactly. If it works I would be praising it and telling the world. Unless it was bulimia.
It's nobody's business.
It doesn't matter how you get healthy, but it does matter how you lose weight cause the two aren't always the same thing.
Sunny’s hair!!!!! I love it she looks amazing!!!! Also never comment on someone’s weight. Good or bad. Just say oh you look nice! 🙈🥰
Sunny, that hair is amazing!
Kelly Clarkson lied blatantly. Then she tried to backtrack with Whoopie.
She didn't really like blatantly. She's taking metformin which is not a weight loss drug like Ozempic or Mounjaro. Metformin has been around for probable 50 yrs. Most people who have type 2 diabetes are resistant to the insulin they produce. Consequently all of the carbs they eat turn to adipose which is fat instead of being converted to energy. Because a person feels like they have no energy they eat more carbs which are converted to fat. Metformin makes your body use the insulin you produce. You lose weight pretty fast. Her doctor tried to get her to take it a couple of years ago without explaining the medical purpose to her so she became pre-diabetic. I blame doctors for not educating patients on what a particular medical condition is and how a medication can reverse it. Not only does one eat more carbs you crave them. The pancreas creates insulin which dictates how your body metabolizes sugars and carbohydrates. Insulin resistance is a symptom of PCOS. The other 2 meds work in a totally different way. Semiglutide and tirepizide are both produced in the gut and communicate with brain. It tells the brain you are satiated to stop eating. The brain gut communication reason unknown stops working for some reason. Your brain says I want more satisfaction it tastes so frigging good and the overeating continues. Most people that have type 2 diabetes take metformin.
I was about to say - how long has it been since I saw these ladies, Sunny glad you didn't destroy your curls!!
Well i have a friend that lost the weight the old fashion way and every thinks that she is on weight-loss drug and at first it really hurt her feelings, but now she doesn't even answer. As someone who lost a fair bit of weight because of illness, I appreciate this topic. Northing more awkward than being complimented in a professional setting about weightloss and being asked what I did when the answer is I got the flu and pneumonia 😅
I don’t even address people’s weight loss… I prefer to make positive remarks on their character and how well they navigate through life
I really want a lease 2 shots of this drug . Lol I just need to loose the 20 lbs
I gained 80lbs in the past 3 and half yrs I had my son in 2021 and my daughter in October 2023. So this last time I went to the doctor she requested ozempic to my insurance to see if it would get approved but it was denied because I don't have diabetes, I'm just obese. So now I gotta do it the old school way working out and eating healthy lol
If your BMI is above 30, try requesting Wegovy. It's the same active ingredient but it's made for patients who need it for weight loss. Ozempic is for patients with Diabetes. That's how I got my Wegovy covered by insurance. I also go to a bariatric center and had to get a prior authorization from my bariatric doctor but it was fully covered, I've been on Wegovy for 2 months and have lost just over 30 lbs. My BMI was 43 and now it's down to 38.5 so far. Good luck!
So your insurance wants you to stay fat until you developed diabetes and have a heart attack before they approve you. Lovely.
The keto diet did wonders for me. You just have to be consistent with it and don’t have cheat meals
@@makeupbyjessx13 yes your insurance will cover wegovy but getting it has been difficult they may have solved the shortage
I think it's rude to ask or comment on people's weight - fat OR skinny. All you should do is say "you look great" and leave it at that. And if you don't think they look good, say nothing at all. Why do we have to complicate things?
I learned a great response whenever I am asked the question about my Weight. “NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS “
"Oh, Susan, she's probably on Ozempic."
Oh, really, Sara?!
I've been naturally skinny ALL my life. I eat ALOT! Everyone that knows me knows that also my parents are thin and were always able to eat whatever they wanted and did not gain a pound! Now as for the people that don't know me personally, give looks, talk about me as if i cant hear them, or blatantly come up to me and make hurtful comments like, "you need to eat something!" Or "are you hungry?!"(leading me to cry after) I've heard it all my life. Just leave it to yourself. You never know what people are going through.
Be proud! We all wish we had those genetics! I know what you mean and I’m not dismissing your hurt, but I’m just saying that they do it out of jealousy, whether they admit it or not.
@@LifeAfterLosing thankyou for that ☺️
My daughter as a child was so skinny that another parent pointed her out and asked the school nurse if she was ill. (Maybe she thought she was contagious - this was the HIV era of fear.) The only problem she had was a mom that was 5'10 and 125 pounds and a dad that was 6'1" and 145. No comments about bodies please!
It is not appropriate to comment on someone' weight period. It's a backhanded compliment if you say to someone "You look great", but then add "did you lose weight?" If someone looks nice, just say, "You look nice." Weight should never come into the conversation. Because when you do that, you're basically saying I have a right to comment on the way someone looks and you don't.
Public or not, your weight is not a Fan's business
Somebody may be ill and going through chemo or losing weight because of depression and may not wish to share it with you. You put them in a bind when you ask.
It can be opposite to that as well, people gain weight for all of these reasons and someone always finds the need to tell you, you've gained weight as if you don't know and they can't possibly know what you might be going through. It's very hurtful. Instead of making that statement, it would have been better to have said how have you been doing lately?
@@sable7114 That is so true! If you want to compliment someone say "You still have that beautiful smile" or "That blue top is so pretty on you" and leave the body comments unsaid.
I think Joy was right in saying "don't comment on someone's appearance." But I also believe Sarah was right saying public people shouldn't lie about taking weight-loss drugs. Cause if they're putting aspects of their private lives out there to get publicity & build their brand, then lying about how they maintain their appearance is disrespecting their fans. (Like when the Kardashians say their looks are because they wear the make-up, shapewear, etc they sell instead of all the plastic surgery they get.)
I’ve lost 190 pounds and I did it through weight loss surgery, a ton of exercise, and plastic surgery to tighten everything all up. I maintain it with a healthy diet and exercise. I’m actually on the treadmill now. No need to be offended by everything people ask. It’s a question, they aren’t throwing something at you. People want to know because they want help to do it too. When celebrities who have access to money, trainers, surgeries, drugs, chefs, skincare, makeup artists, spas, and on and on, lie about it and say it’s just diet and exercise, that is what makes people feel bad about themselves.
Don’t flaunt perfection as if it’s something easily attainable. Tell others how you did it so either they can do it too or at least acknowledge that you had a privilege that someone else may not have had. I’m not going to gaslight people into thinking you can lose 200 pounds and not have loose skin, because when they do it and the skin is flapping, they will be devastated. They need to know the reality. Be honest.

Sunny’s hair looks gorgeous. Why would joy ask her that on national television that was kind of low of her even though I love Joy Behar
It’s funny because they are discussing ask/don’t ask about weight loss, some think you should be truthful, so it is in the same spirit.
I have fought obesity since I was a child, and I have no problem using medicine to make me healthier. If people want to hate me that is not my problem.
Best not to mention about weight because sometimes its also an indication they are not well or have some NCD diseases which they prefer to be private about.
I know of a coworker who lied about surgery for weight loss. She said it was training and eating right. Lost about 50 kg in 3 months 😑
Being on ozempic or wegovy doesn't mean the weight just comes off. You still do eat well and exercise. Someone isn't lying because they didn't tell you that they are taking a medicine that helps regulate their hormones and they are no longer being blocked by pcos or whatever else causes them to retain weight. People are so entitled.

For all the people who watched for years Skinny bish was reference to Star Jones lol
Weight loss is a VERY sensitive and touchy subject. Weight loss is a physical and emotional journey, especially those who are literally trapped in their homes for years. Most doctors always say try regular diet and exercise, and if it fails, then they begin discussions about surgery. But people shouldn't judge too harshly when it comes to what method one chooses to loose weight. Unless you've been overweight all your life, you're not one to talk. So, just be weary of how you talk about weight
It's called going to a gym on a regular basis and skip the pills/medication
It is offense and rude to comment on how a person looks

If you were fat on Monday and skinny by Thursday, figure it out.
It doesn't work that fast at all. It would take about 2 months to lose 20lbs
I understand people have to lose weight. But I'm diabetic and I can't use Ozempic because al these people use this. Now I have something else that works great for my diabetes, but the side effects are too much. But I have to because I can't get Ozempic.
If it's metformin cut your carbs and sugar. It should take care of the diarrhea.
It is generally inappropriate to question someone's weight, sexuality, sexual identity, or political affiliation. While I might make an exception for close friends and family, I ask that you refrain from asking such questions outside of those circles.
Remember Star Jones, " I did it by controlling portion size and Pilates".
There’s a similar problem with plastic surgery. These days we walk a fine line when we compliment somebody on looking better.
Whoopi often seems shocked that they have commercial breaks. 😂
Omission is not a lie. Ppl shouldn't have to tell what they don't want everyone to know THEIR BUSINESS
