Oh yes my favourite tool the sledgehammer it fixes everything in the end!!😂😂
Your father is a genius on this wet Sunday .We are going to watch our favourite farmers in the world 🌎.So so good luck with the beast.😊😊😊🧑🏻🌾🧑🏻🌾🧑🏻🌾🧑🏻🌾🧑🏻🌾🧑🏻🌾
Good to hear you Diane ! Enjoy 😉
Can’t help n look at that combine and think of Uncle Ian .
Lad use a block of timber when beating out dents.
Good shout 👍🏻
Father Phil is the brains behind the business. Tho Phil is getting the subscriptions. Good luck to them
@@samuelrobinson9012 very true mate
There's a great satisfaction got from getting a machine up and running again, I know, most of my life spent doing it. The heavy work is beating the weather and as can be seen, it takes a toll on you Phil. Mind yourself and try keep a good perspective Best regards to all, Ger
Hi Phil.
Nice combine. Dont ever leave the header out in rain, the bearings for the power flow Will break really fast. Remember the grease fitting thats mounted on the end of the pulley for the variable speed for the threshing cylinder. ) Jacob from Denmark.
Great advice
It a night mare to get silage cut down here in kerry land is just swamped
How many will notice Rory’s dairy holdings T-shirts👀they fair stand out
Rory like a Boss 💪🏽
Heat em dents and they will pull easily great looking combine she has knocked down lot of stuff in her day ,but you n father Phil and Rory has given her good going over ,safe harvest Phil look forward to seeing her mowing ,
Phil, you do a great job in showing the mental strength of farmer'. People need to know what pressure farmers are under. As for father Phil well hes as happy as a pig in sh1te working on his new toy. If he services it then it's serviced
These boys r tough no doubt
Try being a fisherman .no grants, no subsidies no mollycoddling out in life threatening weather far from home.
@@AbcdEfgh-zp1snyeah I spend most of my free time on a farm.
Farmers whinge a lot while spending a significant amount of the day drinking tea and talking
@@johnnyflat2138 I'm not saying farming is easy . But it's not nearly as hard as they like you to believe . Irish farmers are so heavily protected with near zero inheritance tax, no rates on commercial buildings , cheap fuel, grants , subsidies, etc etc etc they would get a shock if they entered the real business world
@@AbcdEfgh-zp1snFarmer Phil and Father Phil and liv work all hours under the sun.How dare you criticise them not saying fishing is a hard job. They work well into the night. They have their animals to attend to they all have to be attended to.And Dairy Farmers are really having a hard time you want to try it .Moneys drop out of milk.It certainly isn’t a bed of roses. All the shit and Phil and Father Phil work on other farms. You need to wash your mouth out with soap 🧼.
Comment for the algorithm to help the channel 👍.
Looks like she's done a power of work in her day, all the best with the harvest Phil.
Father Phil is impressive with his machinery knowledge. Did he study mechanics back in the day or just picked it up as he went?
Handy man to have around.
There's some head on father phil we had 56 mm here near Aberystwyth yesterday 🙈
Best of luck we are all praying for the weather to lift 🙏🏼
It will come all right use always get the job no matter what 👍
Great old combine, I personally would give it a good run up in the yard check all the electric controls are working & that the power flow belt is in reasonable condition & running true 👍
Good advice
Great video. The weather has everyone in the pits… all you can do are the fixing and servicing jobs until the dry weather arrives. As you say there’s always someone worse off than yourself.
I will say this father Phil is bloody amazing at mechanical repairs you have a great teacher there Farmer Phil love the repair vids cracking vid.
Phil there called frog-mouth sieves ye , com-on get to know what there called , good luck with your combining ye , regards from essex !!
Great work farmer Phil the Best of luck with it
Fingers crossed lads the weather improves and u can get cutting. By the looks over the ditches across the country there an awful lot of lads goin to b introuble. Keep the head Stewarts
Thank you for that explanation on how the combine works. I always wondered how such a big machine can sort those pieces of grain from the rest of it.
Great video Phil keep the faith the weather will come 👍
Another fantastic video 😊
Well
Good luck with your new machine ye boys know a lot about them
Phil, what’s the hours on the combine ?? Sorry if I missed it in your last video
Hope ye get cutting soon, did a great job on the header
Good video Phil
Good man farmer phil 👍👍
Great video
How dose father phil like the new beast
great video
The farm behind my parents had one of these. Great combine very reliable.
Great video Phil jaysus father Phil is a great man he really knows his stuff
I think the man that told ye it worked all last season and said it was part of a deal may have told a few fibs. I dunno if it’s viable to have a combine for yourself for small acres never mind 3.
We have 2 big combines and 4 vintage and 180 acres of cereals
@@FARMERPHIL3690 ye don’t need explain your self Phil . Data the beauty of farming for yerselves . Ye r the ones callin da shots 💪🏽
@@FARMERPHIL3690 so it is viable to but a second combine for 200 acres ?
He can have 20 if he wants 😄🙄
Can’t wait to see this in action wanna see then screen in the cab !!!!!😮❤❤
Working on equipment is very important to do
Hi’ Phil is that a MF 40RS ,they are still one of the best harvesters to this day ,I use operate one years ago down in Hampshire ,yes the auger was a bad design on them 👍
Catchy for most i think in England, driers will deffinatley be in use this year.
Well at least you go chance to give new header a good fix up so ur ready to go
Great video as always lad
Goodman phil, good to see the servicing videos, father phil in his element fixing things, weather is pretty bad at moment, keep heads up and hope yee get cutting soon, am sure with bad weather yee are at other things off camera as yee always busy, keep videos coming.
That's the unfortunate thing about farming, it's too weather dependent. I don't think there was a full 24 hours in July where it didn't rain at some point.
Fair play Phil..your ready to cut
Gr8 advice in da comments here . Every one Pulin together Phil ye’l be away in a hack n no bother wit da help of God
Just won't stop raining 😢
A great day's work done lad's
Them powerflow belts want taking of every year and clean all the shite out because they tend not to set of at the start my header was a 24ft an i used to have to set it running then run round to the header and push the belts lol used to shit me sen doing that 😅
👍
15% Phil and very little drying to do.
Whats the difference in the powerflow ?
Get that mop of hair cut, before the birds start nesting in it.
You might like a look at your mop too in the mirror
Is that a sisu engine or a perkins?
@@cidertom5140 Excuse me i am bald.
@@tangofoxtrot4603 l doubt cider tom has had too much cider. lol😂
👍🙂
Is there any cropwatch video this year
There will be
I would take those lifters off the cutting bar better without them
First
Tidy bit of kit
i hope it was cheep
If that combine is not rushed and no doubt father Phil will nurse her along nicely she will cut a lot of acres yet and sure look how much work be done on her during a few wet showers the way the weather is behaving he could strip her down and put her back together with his eyes closed he knows his way around her he even got time to get the radio going if and when the weather picks up he won’t have time to switch that radio on never mind listen to it 😂
👌👌👌🙏🙏🇨🇮🇨🇮👍👍👍
Nice video my friend ❤♥❤❤✳✳✳✳✳✳
A very creative idea ❤❤♥❤✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳
I look forward to seeing your designs. Congratulations on your journey forward🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

get a new one
Did I hear children in the background? Are there a bunch of little Phils runnin around that we haven’t been told about?
Ye just love punishment fixing a machine ye just bought and im sure it wasn't small money
there will always be something to fix
Where is the old combine gone
In the shed
Another pile of scrap you brought . Good job it's raining to fix it. Not even seen the field yet. 😢
Would you not sell them 2 scrap hapes and get a decent modern combine for the money
Have you any idea how much a 10 or 12 year old combine is your looking at nearly €200 000 for a very good one back down to €150 000 for a well used one.
I think that's they're plan eventually anyway
@@claetuswoodroofe1854 I hope you have a good accountant
They don’t justify it will the little bit they do, that machine suits them perfect, old, reasonable money, parts easy to get and father phill could fix it blindfolded
@@jamesmccabe1702 And you need some manners.
Good video Phil
