I would have liked to have seen how the inside of the waistband looked. I made a muslin pair first and didn’t like how it was finished inside so I altered it, I cut 2 slightly smaller width pieces of the back so I could sew them together like the front and used a finer contrast fabric. I then sewed one side of the length to the top of the trousers and turned under the other side and sewed through on the stitch line. I am pleased with how it turned out and think it’s a much neater finish if you don’t have an over locker. Sorry I’m not sure that makes sense but it is great to have a sew along tutorial. I am just getting back into sewing after a very long absence.thank you

Those are so cute on u! Made a pair for my granddaughter several yrs ago... she picked out the pattern and fabric and they were really cute on her too. I may have to make myself a pair now.

Like another comment, I would’ve liked a closer look at the waistband being sown as I am doing these at the moment and am stuck on the elastic procedure 😊
