thank you so much Ms Kayak, yes sadly the parade will be the last one in Whitby but they will hopefully, weather permitting, put on other events around the town on the first weekend of December (always around St Nick day)
Hi Nick and Jill this is a fantastic event just love all those fabulous costumes. That Christmas tree was really leaning over. Great that some of the Krampi turned out they are must be made of tough stuff. Enjoyed the edit version. As you say Go Krampi! Hope you both are well and have a wonderful weekend. You definitely go the extra mile to bring us your fantastic content. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Hi Nick and Jill, wow that was storm at Whitby, such a shame it was raining for you, but you did well, filming in that weather, grreat to see last years event, the costumes are brilliant and very scary, thank you for sharing, have a great weekend, take care x Julie and Tony x
well done guys geting that great footage with that weather you were out in in part 1 loved the way you showed us some footage in better weather -5 thats cold.the costumes were great and whitby always looks great what ever the weather.and of course loved the drone shot at beginning of stormy and wet whitby .fantastic work as always guys x

Nick and Jill, my favourite GenXers! Hope you're both well. Loving the Krampus run, such a shame old Darragh battered the event though, but it didn't stop a fair few Krampus's to be out to celebrate, and the both of you! So well done for braving it. It was great to see again your 2023 adventure of Krampus run and to see it in it's full glory. Love all the costumes and the effort that goes into to making these events! Your coverage of it is always so fun and enjoyable to watch!! All the love xx
Such a shame about the storm, well done for braving it and all those that went. It was a scary day down here. Nice to last years show and really hope they have better weather next year ❤
The stormy weather brought so much drama to the already eerie vibe of the Krampus Run. I can’t believe you braved those flying Christmas trees and chairs to get this footage! The Krampus Headquarters looked super cool and spooky, and the parade costumes were unreal. Also, I loved the bit of history about Krampus. Interesting tradition. Major props to the organizers and participants for keeping the event alive despite the chaos. Definitely a mental but unforgettable day in Whitby! Great job Nick and Jilly, now get warm 😁😁
Guys this was a great event and the weather added to the atmosphere 😃well done for braving the storm, you got brilliant footage and everyone was great doing it for a good cause. The costumes were amazing. So good at night too. Hope you both have a very lovely blessed Christmas time ~ Anna ❤🎄❤️
Damn Dara. Even the monsters were taking shelter from her. It was great of them and yourselves to brave it or try to anyway. A shame. It looked mad out there! Still the 9th run of it looked great. Best event of Christmas for a Grinch I say 👍Hopefully number 11 is a goer 👍
Looks like a fantastic event but that weather was real bad! Glad your drone wasn’t blown away😅 the costumes were amazing and kudos to everyone who participated.
thank you Sally, yes so much was cancelled due to the weather across the UK last weekend, that storm was really bad. they did say that a lot of the activities would probably not take place but bless them they got out even in the worst weather!
yeah I hope you can make it, definitely wasn’t a wise idea visiting last week. the weather when we set off and when we first arrived was just “a bit windy”, we lasted 50 minutes there, shortest visit to Whitby ever, we felt very lucky to get out in one piece and to get back!
Great music and great video, not so great weather though, although dry at least, well at the beginning of the day, I blame the Krampus for the awful weather. The outfits are amazing for the Whitby Krampus run as the the atmosphere around the town. Despite the weather, what a great day.
Such a shame with the weather but at this time of year it is always a lottery but well done on the people who did turn out. Just as well you had some old footage to add it, especially so people can see how good the weekend could have been and hopefully will be next year. I was all ready for my first ever Krampus Run and another Whitby food review at the same time but did not fancy driving over the Moors in that storm. Cheers Alan
very wise Alan. I think it was the thought of the drive back that made us quickly realise how foolish we had been. there is only one real road between Whitby and Scarborough over the Moors and through forests, there were trees falling down and closing roads all across the country! 50 minutes from arriving to leaving Whitby, definitely our fastest visit ever! Storm Darrah was a bad one, pretty much any weather from the North, North East is a major problem for us! fingers crossed for next years Krampus. they do other events across the year, including summer solstice and Xmas Markets, might be worth having a look at their schedule! the Summer Solstice would be fun, they must all roast to death in all that gear!
Gosh... I don't know which was more scary, all those Krampusususes 🤣or that dreadful storm. It was great that so many of them still turned up to put on a display but eventually there comes a time when safety becomes the priority. I guess it was lucky that you had seen the previous year's event and how it's run under normal circumstances. Hope the journey home went ok 🤞🤗🤗❤xx
