Best way to have healthy bowels is fiber and water. "She doesn't eat vegetables". Bam. There's the issue. You're the parent. "Honey, when you eat these, you're going to have an easy time going poop!". Make vegetables exciting and easy on the cheese. Cheese is constipating. When she does poop, say, yay vegetables!! Change her mind about veggies.
That was my take away how is your kid not going to eat veggies I understand not liking them but this dude mad it seem like they don’t even offer them 🤷♂️
We were raised way different in the 70s n 80s for sure. I learned how to sit at the table in a restaurant with manors (and there wasn't the mobile babysitters aka tablets back then) and behave on an airplane early early on. We learned that there was one look, then a count down to 3 n if that didn't work we were taken outside n "given a reason to cry" lol so...
My two year old is afraid of water and taking a bath. She's hated it since birth! Screams bloody murder and flails in the baby tub or the regular bath tub. Water temperature and toys don't matter or make it more tolerable for her, she hates it & is terrified no matter what. She shakes, trembles, and cries actual tears. It's a true fear for her & I have no idea why. Even watching the older two play with toys in the tub doesn't make it any less terrifying for her. Pool & splash pads are a nope for her. Even playing with a water toy table is of no interest. I basically bathe her with wet wipes & only put her in a tub once a week cuz of all the stress it causes her & I.🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Love both of you guys…my kids are in their 20’s but, I’m enjoying ur podcast since a lot of things have changed…so hopefully I can master some things whenever I become a grandmother 😂
Love your podcast! The parents are calling with very interesting issues. I was muddled when I heard lip ties,, learned something new today. Thanks Dr Scott Cohen and Sabastian for taking your time to produce this helpful ,informative and. fun Podcast.
The cast needs more of an introduction. This is who we are, this is why we are doing this. This is how you call in, etc. Like a video that plays before it starts. Also what are the Dr's credentials, etc.
Due to my daughters condition, she’s been on restoralax every day since she was small and she’s 8 now (this was told to us by her doctor). That may be a solution for gentlemen on this video.
Gummy bears work wonders for kids with constipation. There are times as a parent you need to use bribery and that is one of them you should have a basket in the bathroom that has wrapped up little presents from the 99 Cent Store of course appropriate to the age and every time she goes to the bathroom let her open one of the presents. You can have smaller gifts for attempts that are at least 5 minutes without crying Etc and explain this to the child that that's what's needed to get the present. And then you can have one or two bigger presents that come with an actual movement as they say. Incentive is everything when it comes to humans

The 9-year-old who needs a personal assistant already??? Delegation!
Ok you need a mom. My kids would be put on the pot multiple times a day until obviously once in school, but after school and weekends.
How is the guy talking about his kids constipation going to put her on blast like that
