Moving villagers sucks, but the best method is to get them in a minecart and make a track to where you want them. If you want to change its occupation, destroy its current workstation and place a new one where you moved it.
Best method but the easiest method is just use a boat without spending any iron on the cart and rails. Even faster as well if you're counting crafting time too
You can also feed the baby’s food to help them grow up faster so you don’t have to wait so long and can get more villagers, another thing is if you have a villager and want different trades you can place the workstation down then break it and keep doing that till you get the trades you want

Hello! I’m so glad you’re back playing Minecraft and also glad to see you’re doing ok a little tip on the farmer, in order to make his trade official without him constantly changing is you have to trade with him at least once before you move him away from the breeding place to your village then he’ll pretty much be a farmer for ever 👍🏼😊
I saw your videos many years ago but eventually grew up and out of it. I still play minecraft, and am always looking for related videos to listen to while I play. These seem perfect for that purpose, and also just to catch up on the lore of the world. Glad to see you're still going on youtube! I think I saw the very first video or so where you had a big cobblestone structure, but you've done so much since then!
You have to break all profession tables to get the profession you want for a villager. if you have 2 profession tables the villager will change his profession if he moves far from his 1st job (profession table "composter, flinch table, etc) so in conclusion, break all the nearby profession tables, put ur villager with the composter and it'll work, no need to put ur villager 100 blocks away if you don't want any villager to change profession, trade with the villager and he will never change his profession again
I can't destroy the fletching tables at my iron farms so how far away do I have to stay so that does not change them? I thought I needed to make the iron farm at least 50 blocks from the nearest bed?
@@morpheusasmrgaming1959 there is no need for fletching tables for your iron farm, you can destroy all the profession tables and travel with ur villager to the place you want him to be in and then put the composter close to him and he will be a farmer, and to make him a farmer for ever just trade with him and he will not change ever
Another tip is to simply break the fletching table since you haven’t traded with them then place the composter down and they should turn to farmers & trade with them to make them farmers for ever, but then you’ll have a lot of farmers haha
I have two iron farms. They don't seem to be working now. I have a fletcher villager without a bed or workstation hanging out under one iron farm and I built a house with a fletcher villager in it near the other iron farms. Could that be the reason they don't work anymore. I know when I built them the youtube video I watched said they needed to be 50 blocks away from anything. There are also golems near one of the farms now?
@@morpheusasmrgaming1959so I had the same problem what you have to do is find and break that villiagers original workstation so if they are a fletcher just break all the fletching tables in the area and if that doesn’t work take the villiager that you want to become a farmer away from that area and make a new farm if you have anymore questions I’ll try to help!

The king is back! Hi Tom, just gotta say these are my absolute favorite videos you post. I’ve seen all of The Minecraft videos a minimum of 3-4 times each
If you put pressure plates in front of your doors inside your house, you can just open them, and they'll close by themselves when going inside, and when going outside, they'll open and close automatically
32:00 what happened was since your farmer was connected to a composter very far away, and that would also mean it won’t connect to the composters by your house, since it’s already connected to the same job, bringing it near your makeshift village where you have a fletching table nearby would switch his job. I recommend once you turn him into a farmer, trade once with him. This locks his job into a farmer and will never switch jobs. Hope this helps
@@morpheusasmrgaming1959 you want a villager to keep a profession forever right? Trade with them once and they will stay in that profession forever even if you destroy their occupation block (composter)
idk if you’ll see this but if you already traded with them they can’t change profession even if you break the original work station also if you trade with the villager before hand on the island then it will stay as a farmer
you are also able to breed villagers with potatoes, just drop potatoes on the feel near two villagers and give it a few minutes and a few baby villagers will spawn
It is possible to put villagers where you want them, the best way is the lure them with a job so that the villagers can see them and go to it, you can break it and do it again so the villagers can going towards the job at the location you want them, then you can trap them in a boat so they don’t run
Next time you get to start a new world on Minecraft, try playing the Java version, I noticed you already play the bedrock on PC, so that shouldn't be a big problem. The bedrock version has way too many bugs, and most of them can't even be explained loll. The Java one is way more stable. Unfortunately it isn't cross platform. If it was, it wouldn't be that stable tho haha. Also, tip for moving the villagers: the farmer guy is leaving the farmer job and turning into a Fletcher (32:02) cause there's certainly a Fletcher's table nearby, you gotta break it, and any other working table as well, or he will get the job from it. Do that, then place the new composter, he'll remain a farmer.
Hey man just a heads up. If you're lagging a little i recommend putting your render distance down to likr 32 chunks. To do this go to settings/scroll down to where it says video and scroll on the video until you find render distance and put it a little down :))
the villager has to be "untraded" with. you can't change the villagers role if you've already started traiding with him. also those villagers can swim, that's why they got around your wall.
