@@bliiild They avoided main roads and highways because they knew some other BBMC members would try to ambush and rescue him. Normally, you would want to extend the RP if you were a cop and least try to let them do something.

@@llllvl1debtors law. He had 162k in debt, in jail you can only earn 1k every 20 min. Mind you, you have to be online and grinding in jail to get the 1k every 20 min.
@@llllvl1 12.5 hours is the time for the charges, but you can't get out of prison if you are in debt. With the fines he is now $162,000 in debt, and he has to work in prison to get out of it. It takes 1 hour to make $3,000, so he'll be out of debt after 54 hours of grinding (not offline, not AFK, actually working the shitty jobs). If he "plays" 8 hours a day, working non-stop, he'll be out in 7 days. Realistically, he's going to be in jail for 10 days. You're literally better off F8 quitting and tank the 3 days ban.

Nothing has changed since 3.0. Crims taking all of the consequences and PD being shit again.
Early 3.0 is nothing like this, but when it turns to mid and late, it becomes copixel, and people start to quit. I can see people leaving Nopixel before the end of this year. If this thing continues, you're getting punished for doing RP on a RP server, which is not even a hardcore server.

Controversial take max jail times should be for the rest of the day max. There should be no reality where you wake up the next day and you are not coming out of jail that day.
it sounds good in theory, but knowing the cops, they would do anything to push the max time. It will get to a point that every gun fight would make get you a day off.

Imo, it should be no more than 2 hrs. If there's something the admins need to address, they can do that OOC for the creator so they can continue to... ya know... create.

PD needs to go through an RP class I feel. The server should have an RP Academy for cops. On how to extend the RP & how taking a loss is ok to extend story…. They also need a max limit to jail time instead of enacting soft bans
I know RP and all but it's insane to me that in a game called Grand theft Auto there is such a push to destroy criminals. Punishment is ok but the direction 4.0 has moved in is pretty crappy. Not sure why there isn't a push for things to be more episodic
These times and fines are directly fucking over groups like BBMC, James Randal and the Clowns who are more interested in creating content than grinding. Whoever approved the debtors prison is insane and completely off plot for what the server should be. No one wants to tune in and watch people grind 40 hours a week just so they can go out 1 day a week and have fun. its mental.

Entire 0.4 update is such an L compared to other releases it's crazy. It is basically Scuff&Grind simulator.
I remember when Buddha said at the start of 0.4 they have so many new devs split into actual teams, who are working hard, every team on different things and stuff and from my perspective it looks like they have less devs than 3.0 and 3.5 lmao. They can't even fix seatbelts for over a month, something that is fixed within an hour after reporting on other servers, yikes..

i hope they do something with this though, i enjoy the rp between pd and crims when done right, but these are just dogshit. Not to mention if the arrest is done in a dumb way, like there's no just rp investigation or anything. I want to believe they want crims to be more covert and careful with their operations and don't want the aggressive, bold, and assertive gang rp that others do like how cg, bbmc, hydra operates. Instead of jailing for excessive hours, what they should do is 1 hour maximum in jail, and on release no attacks on PD for 24/48 in real life hours, otherwise real life 1/3 day ban. That way, they can rp other scenarios, and still be engaging.
They should also do community service to work on their debt.
