Thailand's Songkran festival is not all about splashing water. We have Buddhist ceremonies. Paying homage to ancestors with various methods such as offering alms to monks, bathing Buddha images, building sand pagodas release of fish and pouring water on the elders The Songkran festival is an expression of gratitude and generosity to family, community and society, and also the movement of the zodiac, enter Aries which is regarded as the beginning of the Thai new year in ancient times Songkran traditions are diverse and beautiful. It is also a unique identity of Thailand that is famous all over the world. All Thais welcome people of all races, religions, genders and ages to come together and make Thailand's Songkran 2024 greater than this year.
